Author note: Guys I am not cut out for this romance stuff. I had a hard enough time writing the make out scene last time- I just feel awkward as hell. Give me your feedback on whether I should just skip to "the next morning" or give it a go. As for now, I'll just do my best :,( Maybe if I feel brave I'll add it in as a one shot later or something.

Jane was working on her potions essay when she realized that her time at Hogwarts was starting to feel less like a whimsical adventure and more like just regular school. She wasn't mad about it though, it was honestly kind of exhilarating in its own regard. This was her life now; classes and studying. At one point the thought of going through highschool again seemed like too much, but now it was something she really looked forward to.

Maybe she would have liked her own schooling better if she was writing essays about moonstones and practicing levitation.

"I think I should be exempt from listing the visual qualities of moonstone in its various forms-" Ominis said in a huff. Jane smiled, turning to look at the Slytherin boy from across the table.

Sebastian leaned over towards the other boy's essay "I think your quill picked that sentence up."

She and the boy chuckled as Ominis quietly cursed towards his page. He attempted to get his quill to scribble out the complaint and Jane eventually reached over, grabbing the dictating quill and crossing it out herself. Normally she would be studying transfiguration with Natty right now, but the Gryffindor girl had to cancel.

"I think you have a valid point though-" She said, sitting back down "-doesn't matter to you what it looks like. Sharp should have you describing the feel of the stone instead."

The brunette raised an eyebrow at her "What's he going to say? The rock is hard, the essence is wet, and the powder is dry?"

"Oh he could do taste!" Jane said smiling "I have a moonstone in my bag- Ominis do you want to pull it out so you could give it a lick?"

"What I want-" The blonde said looking rather annoyed "-is for the two of you to stop talking before I use the silencing charms on you both."

"Hey you started it-"

"And I'll finish it!" Ominis replied menacingly, pointing his wand towards Sebastian.

Jane and Sebastian met each other's eyes and had a hard time keeping their laughs inside. They all returned to their work, no more discussion of licking rocks was shared. Eventually they all finished their essays and moved onto other assignments, until Jane looked down at her watch.

Her heart quickened when she saw the time- it was time to try to find Lodgok again. Jane glanced quickly towards Sebastian, who was engrossed in a book that she didn't think was part of their homework. She needed to slip away without him knowing where it was that she was going, but that wasn't always easy....

Jane coughed awkwardly, attempting to get their attention.

"Well, this has been fun, but I need to get going-" Both boys immediately turned up towards her; Sebastian looking confused and Ominis looking pale.

"Oh? I thought you said Onai was busy tonight. Where else do you need to be?"

Jane paused, not sure what to say. She didn't want to lie, but she didn't know if she could convince him to not follow if he knew where she was going.

"Her business is her own," Ominis said in his lecturing voice. "Let her be."

Sebastian tisked toward the boy. "I was only curious, I don't need a lecture." He looked upset, but it made Jane smile. She was grateful to have Ominis.
