"*My head hurts*"
I rubbed the back of my neck as I walked down the street and stop at a small distance from my bus stop as I hear Sophie call out my name "Christella! Wait up!" I glanced up from my phone with a small smile as my best friend Sophie ran up to me

"Sophie what's up?" Sophie held up her phone and showed me tickets to a movie  "come watch this movie with me! It just came out and I don't want to see it alone" Sophie asked and soon used her puppy eyes on me. I ran a hand through my thick dark long curls as I looked down at my baggy grey jeans, red tube top with a random graphic print of a skeleton design and my way too big grey plaid shirt. "I don't know soph am I really dressed for the movies?" Sophie pouted and scoffed "you wear the same style everyday no matter what chris, anyway the movie starts in two hours are you coming or not?" I sigh

As soon as I sigh rain starts to pour down and I hold my tote bag over my head annoyed at being caught in a random rain shower "alright alright I'll see you're dumb fantasy romance drama movie but you're paying for my food" Sophie giggled and a smile was bright on her face "deal! I'll see you at eight!" I roll my eyes and grin as Sophie waves down a taxi and leaves while I walk the rest of the way to the bus stop

I yawned and covered my mouth in an attempt to hide the fangs I got in my late teens "*just as my luck has it I'm stuck in the rain, I wish it would stop so I could go home...*" I thought to myself as thunder clapped in the distance. Then I feel my hair stand and before I had a chance to react a bolt of lighting comes crashing down on me

One moment I'm standing on solid concrete and the next I'm falling and screaming for my life. My back hits the hard solid ground but for whatever reason I'm not injured except for my now sore back. I look up and move my long dark curls from my face, I squinted from the sudden bright sunlight.

As I looked around I saw a bunch of people pause and look at me in shock and horror, as I took in my surroundings more I noticed the buildings and the clothes everyone was wearing "*where the hell am I? More like when am I? Is this a prank? Why does everything look like a fantasy movie set?*" I question in my mind as I sit up and toss my long hair onto my back only for it to fall back in my face

I hear the sound of clicking metal and hoofbeats from behind me and I turn to the sound of the noise seeing a man on top of a horse holding his sword out to me "Halt! Do not move any further stranger by the order of the Lord of this domain you are under arrest and will come with me!" I stared at the stranger wide-eyed with shock "what the-? Is this a joke? Get away from me!" I smacked the blade away from my face and backed up

The knight had a look of shock before a look of fury overshadowed it and his face turned sour "How dare you dismiss the word of-" his voice was quickly cut off by another's "why don't you let me handle this?" I look behind the knight as another man steps forward, giving the knight a fond pat on his leg as he passes

He picks a flower growing between the cobblestone, bringing it to his face as he knelt down to meet me. "*Wait. He isn't a man..those ears..is he an elf?!*" I thought in shock as the elf cleared his throat "What my esteemed colleague August is Trying to say.." "Isuel there is no need for you to--" August tried to insert himself but Isuel ignored him and continued to speak, his forest green eyes never leaving my dark brown ones as he smoothed back his long beautiful white hair his dark warm skin perfectly contrasting his eyes and hair

"--you have two choices." He extended a hand towards me, smiling. "You can come with us of your own free will--in which you will be calmly escorted to the castle--" August jumped down from his saddle interrupting Isuel which Isuel didn't seem to enjoy all that much "--or you can resist, and we will take you to the castle with force!" August's blue eyes are fierce, as if daring me to question him anymore than I have.
