The Balladeer, informally known as Scaramouche, the powerful 6th member of the Fatui Harbingers, was confidently strolling through Inazuma, with the intention behind the usual fragile put together Fatui scheme (which The Traveler usually squandered easily, as if it were akin to picking blueberries).
As he was walking through a stunning forest full of towering trees bearing varying shades of purple leaves, he abruptly heard a noise from his left. It was definitely out of place. It interrupted the usual tranquility of the area and his somber, yet fleeting comparison of the leaves to his mother who had left him centuries ago. Purple.
He found himself jolting out of his spiraling thoughts and swiveled his head toward the origin of the strange sound.
"Who's there?! Come out and show yourselves, you cowardly scum!...Tch..."
He raises his voice irritatingly, in an attempt to be intimidating which was in contrast to his rather noticeable height... A group of individuals clad in foreign garb step out from the left, seemingly appearing out of nowhere. They had masks covering their faces.
He wanted to laugh maniacally.
They were clearly afraid of him right? They LITERALLY had their faces hidden (LOL chicken move, aura loss).
Yet, he found himself bearing a wanton chill down his spine. However, he refused to tamper his own pride and internally waved off the intrusive feeling- of fear. He was the 6th ranked amongst the Harbingers, he could not afford to be found scared of some unknown scoundrels. That would be extremely embarrassing, and an immediate wound to his self-worth, of course.
So he found himself stepping forward, letting them take it as a clear challenge.
