I deliberately pretend as if I didn't hear her. I try hard to sing along Pitbull but hell.

What the fishing chips does Mr.Worldwide sing?

"Get it out your system, sister", she says nonchalantly.

I, for once, actually find myself considering this question.

Hmm.. So why don't I date? Am I not attracted to men?

Flashback of watching a nude Channing Tatum in 'Magic Mike' comes to mind & I blush crimson, squirming in my seat.

Ah... A shirtless Channing Tatum.

I bit my lip.

I didn't notice we had reached our destination & Kiara was staring at me. Yeah staring.

"Girl?", she's trying to supress her amusement & she arches her brows.

"It's time consuming & hella boring."

"Have you lost your marbles? Maybe the guy didn't know how to get you off."

"I-I.. um... yo-ou kk-now... ugh.. tha-at... se-ee . . . " , stuttering, I look away & hurriedly open the car door to avoid her scrutinising gaze.

"YOU HAVE GOT TO BE KIDDING ME !" she yells & shell shocked & silent for minutes.

I can leave Kiara speechless. Who would have thought? Such a novelty.

"Well, no one you know grabbed my attention. What about you ?", I flush.

"I love flirting, dating & all the stuffs that accompany's it. Is that the only reason?"

"Ya pretty much."

"Damn girl. Don't worry, I'll get u laid." we both laugh.

Mine was more of a scared as fuck kinda laugh.

She is not going to let go of this easily.

The mall was of 4 floors which had stores of all the top brands from Addidas sportswear & gears to Victoria Secret's lingeries.
We wandered into a shop which sold beauty products. While Ms. Stone was busy arguing with one of the employees, I decided to take a sneak peak on the price for a lip balm.

Holy shit!!

I keep it back.

As we keep strolling, we chat, joke & giggle. I'm surprised how relaxed I felt, given that just 5 hours back the Head Master gave us frightening news. Though I would hate to admit it, the little time that I spent with her, I've kind off enjoyed myself. She so carefree.

I wish I was a lot like her.

"I never dated because men are never loyal" I blurted in a flash & was utterly shocked at this revelation.

She stops & raises both her eyebrows, " That's a strong allegation Gwen. Not all men are like that. Even women can be unfaithftul. It differs from person to person. But it all comes down to . . . . " she says thinking hard, taping her finger tips on her chin , " Compatibility. What made you jump to this conclusion ?" She ask intrigued.

"My best friend was in love with this guy. He was double dating. When he was exposed, she was devastated, she broke off with him & while on her way back home, she called me and was talking to me on the phone when she met with an accident & . . " , My voice beyond recognition, unable to hold back the tears that threaten to fall.
