Hello!! I'm so excited to be back and write something new!! Considering it's been 2-3 years since I've last written a larger scale story, I'm going to pre-write a bunch of chapters before I begin officially releasing them! This is the info chapter (obviously) so this is just stuff I wanted to say before I begin releasing actual chapters.
Rebecca is Richard's (Dick's) deadname in this story. Dick also doesn't realize he's trans pre-chapter 1 so at first he does try to reason as to why he isn't. (A king in denial)
The way characters react to and treat Dick in this story DOES NOT reflect how I view the canon characters and any homophobia or abusive language in this story is simply a plot device. Slurs will not be used at all during this story.
Also, I'm not going to be putting trigger warnings at the start of every chapter since last time that honestly drained my urge to write. Instead, I'll only put trigger warnings for topics not previously mentioned in this story. If you see a TW for it once, be aware it COULD appear again. (Exception to this is suicide or self harm topics, they will have a TW everytime.)
I understand I'm writing for a new fandom but if anyone has read my work before I hope you can find some interest in this story as well!
