Back to when I was falling the day started on a Saturday the same day when tonight was Aaron's halloween party .

I woke up like a normal day would've been and went down to go and make breakfast . I decided to just have fruit loops as I wasn't in the mood to cook.

While I sat down at the countertop eating my fruit loops I saw my dad walking down the stairs .

Lorenzo: good morning mads

Madeline: morning dad . How are you?

Lorenzo : good and you

Madeline: I'm fine

Lorenzo : do you remember our arrangement for tomorrow.

Madeline: yes yes I have to come home not late to not to drunk so that tomorrow morning we have to go to breakfast.

Lorenzo : yes that's the plan and if it does not go as planned there will be punishment.

Madeline: don't you think I'm a bit too old for that dad I'm turning 21 next year .

Lorenzo: as long as your under my roof we have rules and punishments .

Madeline : whatever you say dad . But for the breakfast tomorrow why are we going.

Lorenzo: you will see tomorrow when we get there it will only be for your benefit.

Madeline: so I'm not allowed to know where we are going at all

Lorenzo : yes not at all . Remember you have training practice on Sunday afternoon.

Madeline: fine

Lorenzo : bye Madeline

Madeline: bye dad

And with that he walked out the door .

I hated that I knew nothing about what was going on tomorrow morning .

And me being and that I'm really impulsive and stupid sometimes .

I decided that I was just going to snoop around at his office at his building just to get an idea of what was happening.

After eating my fruit loops and washing the bowl I headed upstairs to go and get ready .

I went into my bathroom and decided to take a hot shower.

I was busy bargaining over using lavender or cotton candy shower gel but finally decided I should rather use citrus gel .

After showering I decided to wear a black dress with a white top underneath. And White Nike sneakers .

I just put my hair up in a messy bun and did a or tried a clean girl makeup look and then decided to go down and start the car.

The drive to my dad's office building was peaceful and when I arrived it looked like only a few workers were there as it was only 7: 45 and the workers had to only be there at 8:30 .

I walked in and went up to the 10th floor where my dad's main office was as he didn't like heights that much .

I went to the secretarys desk of the that floor .

Madeline: hi there I'm here to come see if my dad is in his office.

Secretary: do you have an appointment.

Madeline: uh no he just came in around less than an hour ago .

Secretary: ma'am no appointment no visit

Madeline: are sure you can't fit me in somewhere maybe

Secretary: what's your dads name .

Madeline : Lorenzo De Vane

The secretary stared at me like she saw a ghost .

Secretary: your dad is Mr De vane

Madeline: yes I'm sorry I should've said sooner.

Secretary: I'm so sorry miss De vane . I didn't know it was you. He isn't here but his office is unlocked so you can go in .

Madeline: thank you .

I walked into his office which was painted all black with modern photo frames and a couch on the side.

I walked to his desk and started looking through everything but the most things that I found were contracts and files .

I looked through the draws and there were the same things until I found a piece of paper with tomorrows date on it .

When I opened it up it had a name on it and the restaurant I think we were going to and the time to be there .

The name I immediately recognised because I was going to there house tonight.

It had Aaron's mom's name on and the other things .

I hoped it was just a business thing and not what I thought but I put my thoughts aside when I heard my dad talking to the secretary .

I looked around and saw the balcony and my stupid head first thought to go out there I opened the sliding door and closed it .

I saw the height from the ground and it was about a 100 ft drop . I could survive that right yea of course I could survive that .

The first thing I did was take off my dress and took my hair tie and tied it at the top of the dress tight so that the dress could be a kind of parachute to slow the fall slightly .

Luckily I was wearing that top under neath and shorts or I would not know what to do .

Without thinking next I jumped and of course I screamed so loud as this was worse than when I went bungee jumping.

I already imagined the headlines if this this did not turn out well

BILLIONAIRES DAUGHTER FOUND DEAD AT THE LAKE WHAT LOOKS LIKE SHE JUMPED .

I definitely did not jump but rather my last resort so that my dad did not find me snooping in his office.

I could see the ground approaching more and more and I was sure this was going to be a hard fall but then I realised I was above the lake next to the building.

The next moment I was in the lake luckily I did swimming since I was 5 till I was 16 .

I swam for about 5 minutes till I reached the shore by the grass .

I climbed out and stretched my dress over the river and squeezed it out and then put it back on.

I had been to this side of the river and walked back to the car around the building and climbed in .

I decided to switch on my music because I think that was the most dramatic experience of my life I think.

By the time I got home I just changed dried off and then decided to have a long nap after that experience.

But then remembered that I had the party tonight .

But I guess I could get up later.
