LISA'S POVLisa's dance practice outfit for today! ♥️🤍
(Korean, Japanese, English)(Lisa's first language is English)
(When this story takes place) September 27th, 2024.
We are currently practicing for our new comeback, 'It Rains Red'. Today, we were learning the choreography. And so far, it was a disaster.
"Okay, okay. Stop, stop, stop!" I yelled, holding my hands up. Everyone froze.
"Is there something wrong?" Averi asks, one eyebrow raised.
Of course there is, not that I'd directly say it. But I'd express it ....in a...... let's just say..... a more realistic way!
I mean, as idols, we have to be really cautious about what we say on and off camera, mostly on camera though. But now that we're alone without any cameras, I'm gonna be real for once and stop acting like the NPC's they want us to be.
We are 18 - 19. We're still young."Who choreographed this? I need answers right now." I demand, my voice at a standard volume, but my tone sharp. Of course we were being treated like this again. And that's just because of our indifference and race in this industry. I'm not surprised. Whoever this choreographer is, seriously doesn't like us and the fact that we've made it this far. I could scoff right now.
"Oh, looks like someone's gonna be scolded..." Aliyah mutters, her hands behind her back.
Aria shrugs. "Well, it's not surprising. Our leader is not one to mess with. She's obviously going to talk to the woman. She'll then get her fired and-"
I facepalm and cut Aria off. "Okay, okay. First of all, why are you talking?"
Aria puts her hands up in surrender with a fake pouted, raising her eyebrows. "Sorry, maknae on top."
We all facepalm. I clear my throat to get their attention. "Now, answer my question. Who is the choreographer for this damn dance?"
Victoria sighs, rubbing her temple. I can tell she knows how much I am going to scold this choreographer once she name drops them.
"It was Sooha Lee." Victoria admits, sighing as she prepares for the major outburst.
I scoff, knowing exactly who that was.
"That discriminating bitch again?" I yell, my eyebrows furrowing in frustration.
Kailey's eyes widen and she holds her hands up. "Okay, maybe we shouldn't-"
"No, WE should, I SHOULD. She's obviously doing this on purpose. I'm going to get her out of here. This is just unacceptable." I retort, cutting Kailey off.
"Yeah! I mean, COME ON, Kailey. She's basically setting us up for failure with that choreography!"Aria says, agreeing with what I was saying.
I nod, wishing that this discrimination could just stop. We haven't even done anything wrong either. It's the fact that we worked so hard to get to the top and we're getting hate for our race. But of course, humans will be humans, but clearly ignorant ones.
Michelle sighs. "Okay, let's just tell her when she-"
but she gets cut off when the door opens. It was Sooha Lee. Of course it's this bitch. And she's walking in with a sly smirk on her face? Hah, that's funny, but it won't be once I wipe it off her face in just a second.Sooha bows. "Good afternoon, guys. How are you all doing so far? Is the choreography going well?" She greets with a forced smile.
I huff, taking a few steps forward. "Alright, cut the sweet shit. Nothing about your choreography fits the concept of comeback! Let alone, not even close to professional DANCING. I want to know exactly what your problem is." I demand, crossing my arms.
Sooha's face falls, her expression laced with embarrassment and hesitation.
Aliyah facepalms. "This is going to be a long day."
SORRY IF SHORT. HOPE YOU ENJOYED SO FAR!
