"Scripted Conversations"
Few hours I heard a knock on my door,I stood up to open and found out it was the angel in disguise
I think have been staring too much ,because he cleared his throat and said am I allowed to come him
I cut myself off from looking at this handsome man at my door step
Am sorry yes of course, please come in.I handshake with Jack lingered a fraction of a second too long. She quickly withdrew, feeling a flush rise to her cheeks.
"Nice to meet you, Jack," i said, attempting a professional smile.
"Likewise, Emily," Jack replied, his eyes crinkling at the corners. "Rachel's told me great things about your work."
My nerves dissipated slightly. Maybe this collaboration wouldn't be a disaster.
"Thanks, Jack. Your... um... talent speaks for itself."
Jack chuckled, a low, smooth sound.
"Let's get down to business," he said, gesturing to the script on the coffee table. "What's your vision for this project?"
I launched into a passionate explanation of my story, Jack listening intently. His questions were insightful, and i found myself opening up about my creative process.
As they discussed the script ,i realized Jack wasn't just a pretty face. He had depth, intelligence.
But when Jack suggested changes to my beloved script, my defenses rose.
"I understand what you're saying, Jack, but—"
"Call me Jack, not Mr. Harrison," he interrupted with a wink.
My cheeks warmed.
"Okay... Jack. But I think this scene works better—"
"Trust me, Emily," Jack said, his voice low and persuasive. "My suggestions will make this script shine."
I hesitated, unsure if i should trust this charming, infuriating man.
