"Are you excited for your first day?"

Mommy asked smiling, I nod and smiled widely. I can't even tell how excited I am today! Finally, a high school life! I can't wait to interact with other kids, to enjoy break time, school clubs, school events, and more! I've been waiting for this moment for so long!

"Eat your breakfast, then Kuya Tisoy will drop you off." Mom said, as she place a waffle on my plate, I politely thank her and start eating.

After eating I kissed my Mom good bye and went to Kuya Tisoy who's been waiting for me. He opened the door and I went in.

Oh my gosh! My heart is beating so fast!

"You can do this, Olivia. You've faced larger crowds than this." I whispered to myself before going out of the car.

I look around and everyone is looking at me, like they've seen a ghost. I smiled a little and walk awkwardly through the stairs.

I walked through the hallway with my head high, I can see everyone whispering and pointing at me, someone even stopped walking after seeing me. I breathe deeply, it's just the beginning.

"Where's my classroom?" I whispered, asking myself. I look around confuse, I check my watch and it's almost time! I can't be late!

I saw other students gather around in the huge bulletin board, I walked closely and saw the sections paste on the bulletin.

"Excuse me," I said politely.

The boy with glasses looked at me with his eyes widened before moving out of the way and the rest just followed.

I awkwardly smiled at them, "Thank you." I said, before checking my section.

HUMSS - 1 (NOAH)

I hurriedly run after seeing my section, Ninong toured me around here yesterday and he pointed out somewhere at the third floor, so I remember where it is.

I rode the elevator and look for HUMMS Noah, and finally! After a long journey of running back and forth, I finally saw it. I breathe deeply before slowly opening the door.

Here goes nothing.

As soon as I opened the door, everyone's eyes are on me. This is not something new but for the first time in a long time I felt like they're judging me.

I smiled, "Good morning." I greeted politely before going to my seat. I heard some respond on my greeting and some are just frozen. And few minutes later everyone became loud again.

I put my things down and look around. I smiled to all of them before looking down at my hands. What am I going to do?

"Hi! You're Olivia right?" Someone asked, I looked up and saw a girl. Not judging okay, but she's very kikay. Okay, I'm very thankful for this girl, she just saved me from overthinking things.

I smiled, "Yes, and you are?"

She smiled widely, "I'm Stacey!" She introduced herself and offered her hand.

"Nice meeting you, Stacey." I said and we shared a shake hand.

"Ganyan talaga sila, since first time naming magkaroon ng classmate na artista." She said, I chuckled.
