Era's POV:
I didn’t expect to see them here, especially since we all knew they had left. But it was an incredible coincidence. I thought they looked even more handsome in person. I could hardly believe I was sitting next to Joshua. My heart was racing. Wait, am I dreaming?
"So, why are you guys here? Didn’t you already go back to Korea?" I asked, hoping for an explanation.
"Actually, it's our day off and we don’t have any scheduled events. We decided to spend some time in Canada without informing the fans because we wanted some private time," S.Coups explained.
"Please do us a favor and don’t tell anyone. If the fans find out, they’ll be upset. It was just a coincidence that we were seen. Please keep this between us, okay?" Joshua requested.
"No, we won’t tell anyone. You can trust me. Also, Ren," I assured them.
They invited us to dinner, and Ren and Era couldn’t refuse.
S.Coups’ POV:
We were worried they might spill the beans about our vacation, so I explained the situation to Era. I felt relieved when she understood. We then invited them for dinner and ordered our meals.
----
"So, both of you are from BD? I’ve heard of that country. But what are you doing here? I mean what's bring you here beyond the country!!" Mingyu asked curiously.
"Actually, we received scholarships to study here. After graduation, we’ll return to our country," Era explained.
"I see," Mingyu replied.
"Are you a Carat, Era?" Dino asked excitedly.
"Yes, I became a fan in middle school when I first discovered Seventeen," Era said cheerfully.
"What drew you to the fandom?" Dino asked again.
"Well, it was actually Joshua oppa. I saw him first on my feed, and within a week, I fell for all of you. That’s how I became a Carat," Era explained without hesitation, her voice filled with charm.
"Who’s your bias now? It’s me, right?" Hoshi asked.
"It’s not just about one person. I like all of you for your unique qualities, but I’ve always been loyal to Joshua," Era said smoothly.
At her words, all of them, except Wonwoo, shouted “aww” together, which was a bit embarrassing for Era. Her cheeks were burning as she flushed.
"So, what about you, Ren? How did you get into the fandom?" Jeonghan asked.
"Oh, she’s not a fan," Era said.
"Really? Then what were you talking about?" Mingyu asked with a smirk.
"Actually, it was about you.... too. When you had your last concert, I dragged her along. Unfortunately, she ended up falling for—" Before Era could finish, Ren covered her mouth, signaling her to stop.
"Why are you stopping her? Let her speak," S.Coups said.
"No!" Ren suddenly bursted loudly.
"Why not?" Dino asked.
"Okay, you don’t need to tell us. We understand," Mingyu said playfully, he's literally teasing Ren, that's what she thought!!
"Can you tell me what happened?" S.Coups asked curiously.
Hoshi then recounted what had happened earlier. After hearing the story, everyone looked at Ren, who was trying to act normal, and then at Wonwoo, who was just as composed. So, they decided not to press further.
When the dinner arrived, everyone started eating. DK's jokes made Ren and Era laugh heartily. They had a great time together, and even Hoshi exchanged numbers with them. But soon, it was time to say goodbye......
The tale whispers on~~!
