Chapter 9: Battle of Layers

Today, was a day nobody expected. The battle of the three layers. A war that will end in destruction, and death.
I have to make sure that Earth is protected, no matter what.

K: "Ethan, they're waiting for your word."

I stood up and followed him outside. Everyone was standing outside my home, waiting for the word.
I took a breath in and out.

E: "I thank you all for coming to aid the fight. Your sacrifice, and bravery will not go in vein. This war is not one that was anticipated. But, that's the unfortunate thing with being on a higher standard point, the target on your head becomes higher in value. This war, is not an ordinary one. We, will be with Heaven to take on Hell. The battle between Heaven, Earth and Hell. I hope you have everything that you can to defend. Cause when ever Hell arrives, we will be prepared to strike."

Cami and Heaven appeared in the fields in front of the village, I warped the group as the other armies made their way down to the entrance.

C: "It's the day."

E: "Indeed."

C: "I see you have gathered enough for an army."

E: "They're bravery and sacrifices for these plains, will not be in vein."

She nodded, and out of no where, a bigger hole appeared, we all started towards it.

E: "Kratos, you lead everyone and fight down here. I'm going after the main leader."

K: "Copy."

I warped up in the sky, and was floating their.

N: "You!"

He made his way up. I had the Zulfiqar hidden in my jacket.

E: "Look who decided to show."

N: "You've been nothing but a thorn in my side."

E: "Oh, your just a whiney little bitch cause I over power you and your little army."

He got close to me, trying to intimate me.

E: "You never scared me. You never will."

N: "I'm am the holder of life and death. And this will be your last way of life."

E: *machinical laughter* "As if you could lay a fuckin finger on me."

N: "Than prove to me your this so called, untouchable being."

I warped back, pulled out my new blade I was training with. Then I charged Neville with my Falchion. He tried a whip attack, but I warped to the left then did a slash attack with the sword.
After a good 20 minutes, we clashed our blades, and stopped in front of each other.

N: "Come on your prick! Show me what your hiding within!"

E: "Its only been 20 minutes, you already have a death wish?!"

N: "Show me, what you really are!"

He pushed me back, I saw Cami who was watching.
She nodded.

E: *demonic laughter*

Then I switched with Entity.

En: "You are one, ignorant, fool!"

Entity and Neville battled out like crazy. As they were fighting, Kratos and friends as well as the Heaven army, completely wiped out the hell armies.
Entity and Neville stopped, then got thrown back. Entity stood back up and slowly moved towards Neville, who is still on his knees.

N: *pain and coughing*

En: *laughter* "All bark and no bite."

Cami walked over as Entity was holding himself back for the time being.

C: "Nevi, baby bro."

N: "You!"

C: "You've never learned from your anger do you."

N: "I should have-"

C: "Been a better brother? A better person? I could go down the list."

N: *grunting pain*

E: "For a demon, you feel more pain then others."

N: "You shut it."

En: "Don't you get tired of just, being an absolute failure. A ruler is a supposed to be powerful, such as disappointment."

N: "Shut the fuck up!"

En: *demonic laughter*

Nevi was in pain with a bit of silent anger.

N: "Cami. Why do you side with him?'

C: "A very wise man told me "you have to let him walk his path, and let the consequences break and kill him" and that what I'm doing. You chose this path, and knew the consequences. I'm just letting consquence do what he needs."

I put away the Falchion, then pulled out the crafted Zulfiqar, the sword of cosmos. Nevi was terrified.

N: "No."

E: *evil laughter* "Oh no indeed. While you kept sending your goons to do your work. We have been collecting all the pieces to the Zulfiqar. A sword so powerful. It can kill a god and/or demon."

I slowly walked over as Entity merged back with me.

N: "I knew you never change."

E: "If I never changed, I'd not have the ability to weld this sword."

He was silent.

E: "I'm done begin judge for a past that I ruined as a young, power hungry bastard. Yeah, I fucked up. But I'm not that absolute waste of a human soul. I've found better meaning to life. This current life of rather have than what I made. I'll let you both have a final conversation, before I end everything."

C: "How long?"

E: "As long as you need. But, try not to be too long."

I pulled out a chair and sat down to wait. Cami looked at her brother, but didn't kneel down.

C: "Everyday, I always thought about, why you do what you do. But I've finally come to my sense. You never will change. You embody everything Dad was, but worse. I try to think of what I would say to you, at your final moments.
I realized I don't need to say anything, but only that you should know this. I never thought of the day that you would meet your end, and I hoped you would at least be more open minded to talk. Goodbye, Neville. Hopefully you'll find some peace in the afterlife. Since there's is no room for you in Heaven, nor Hell."

She slowly walked away.

N: "Cami!!"

I stood up then I drew the sword towards Neville.

E: "The time of talking is over. You had your chance, but decided not."

I walked towards him.

E: "Sayonara mother fucker."

After that, I brought the sword up then on the down, I slides Neville in half.
He was down, in pieces. Then as his body started to disappear, the sword as well started to disappear.

K: "What's happening with the sword?"

E: "It's purpose has been fulfilled. It's no longer needed."

We all watched as the particles start disappearing in the sky. Marking the end of the war. Cami and her army went back to heaven, then Earth went back to their own things, as we went back into my house and began to rest.
