It's been a few months since Andrew and Lexi got together. Everyone already knew about their relationship and everything was wonderful. But one thing hadn't happened...Andrew still hadn't met Lexi's family, and Lexi hadn't met his!
So today Lexi invited Andrew to a family gathering where it would be at her parents' house and her cousins and aunts and uncles and grandparents would be there.Andrew was a little  nervous because he wanted to make a good first impression. He put on white jeans and a navy blue shirt, he did his hair and before going to Lexi's house, he passed the flower shop.

Arriving in the parking lot of the house, Andrew saw Lexie waiting for him outside, wearing a dark blue, short, skin-tight dress. Her hair was curled, and in Andrew's eyes, she looked gorgeous! Parking his car, Andrew exhaled and said to himself "Okay Andrew you got this." He got out of his car and walked towards Lexi with a smile on his face as he held the two bouquets of roses.

"Hey" Lexi said giving Andrew a kiss. "How are you?" she asks him seeing the worry his body was radiating."Nervous." He held the two bouquets in one hand and Lexi's hand in the other.
"There's nothing to worry about. My parents don't eat people." Lexi said laughing which made Andrew smile. Her presence somehow made him feel a little more at ease. And thus holding hands, the two entered the house. The closer they got to the backyard, the louder the voices and laughter of the people gathered there. Andrew turned to Lexi, who was holding his hand and beaming forward with a smile.

Entering the backyard, all eyes turned to them.
Lexi's mother was the first to go to them to meet her daughter's lover."Hello! You must be Andrew! I'm Lexi's mother, Laura! Seeing that warm and gentle smile, Andrew immediately saw Lexi in it. Lexi looked a lot like her mother, not to mention they were like sisters. They had the same smile, the same nose, same face shape and same lips."Hello, nice to meet you!" Andrew shook Laura's hand and smiled.

"This is for you." Andrew handed one of the bouquets of roses to Laura. "And this is for you." he turned to Lexi and handed her the bouquet of white roses. "Thank you love!" Lexi exclaimed and kissed his cheek. Laura was impressed with Andrew. In her eyes, he is seen as a good and well-mannered man who is very much in love with her daughter. Lexi's dad saw the new face and decided to go introduce himself."Hi! I'm Lexi's dad, John."John shook Andrew's hand, then hugged his daughter.Andrew noticed the father's love for his daughter and felt a little sad because this is the love he dreams of getting from his father.

After Andrew got to know the whole family, they all sat down at the huge table stretched out in the backyard. While Andrew was enjoying the well cooked and warm meal, Lexi was looking him up and down. She couldn't believe how lucky she was to have such a man by her side. He looked so good in that dark blue shirt, his slightly curly hair made him even more attractive. Andrew noticed Lexi's eyes on him and turned to her.

"What?" Andrew asks her, his mouth full of food. Lexi stroked his cheek with her hand and smiled at him, making him fall more in love with her. "You're just too cute." Lexi answered and gave him a small kiss on the lips.As the in love couple enjoyed each other's company, Lexi's father watched them from the side and smiled at them. But suddenly he noticed something strange on Andrew's arm. Andrew had his last name "Davila" tattooed on his arm.

The last name sounded quite familiar to John.
He felt that he had heard or seen her somewhere before. He separated himself from the others and hid in the bathroom to check the last name "Davila". John looked up Andrew's last name on the Internet and what he saw shocked him. Andrew's father and his uncle are known drug dealers in Texas. They are also known for beating and raping women.John realized that his daughter was not safe and that he would have to do everything he could to protect Lexi from Andrew...
