Jaret moved through the street on his way to his house. The sky was a gradient in which the dark blue of the night slowly overshadowed the light blue of the morning and afternoon. He could reproduce any song out of his ears, or project and see the musical notes while he walked, but Jaret hummed. He enjoyed a walk to his home, singing and humming out of tune. Jaret eventually gave the final pace in his route when he stepped the doormat in front of the energy field to enter the house. Jaret stood up 5 seconds in front of it as he came in and out the hive mind. The energy field opened, letting people in the exterior see the plain living room from the inside. The gray couch, which had a slightly deep hole on each pillow, complemented the dark blue walls. As everything in this world, the walls and furniture were totally clean and neat. The walls had no portraits, drawings, or posters. The only thing in the living room, besides the couch, was a small bedside, circular table with a lamp that gave green light which, according to beliefs, it was made out of Dankpharasan's body and gave you protection if you ever see something that occurred as it wasn't supposed to.

"Hi, mom!" Jaret joyfully greeted his mother.

"Welcome back, Jaret Brannan." Laura said in reply.

"Missed you too, mommy."

"Ready for the shut down routine, Jaret Brannan?"

"Yes, mommy."

Then, Laura grabbed Jaret's hand. They placed themselves in a small space in front of the couch. Without any noise or call, Jaret's father, Nolan, arrived in the living room to grab Laura's and Jaret's hand, uniting the circle.

"Another day has come to an end."

Out of each one of the eyes in the room, they projected each memory every person in the room lived during the day on the floor, as if it was a memory rug.

"Thanks to you Lord, I'm safe, taking my beloved ones' hands."

The plate, still projecting the events of the day, slowly began to rise up to the roof.

"Like it was today, make tomorrow and tomorrow until eternity a life away from imperfections, closer to your calming light."

When the projection reached the roof, it began progressively vanishing; piece by piece as if it was a puzzle.

"Dhankti." The three of them said at the same time.

Then, they closed their eyes to end the projection, but when they opened them again, they were all letting out green eyelight with the power symbol as a pupil. First, Nolan and Laura began patiently walking to their bedroom, followed by Jaret. When Nolan and Laura laid on their bed, their eyes turned off, letting out no light. On the other hand, just as Jaret crossed his bedroom door, he changed his green eyelight to the normal dull blue.

"Hello, Princess Lemon Pie! Guess what happened to me today!"

A face out of all Jaret's drawings in the wall formed.

"What now, Jaret?" The bedroom answered with curiosity.

"I met somebody new! His name was Duncan!" Jaret said with excitement as he sat on the edge of his bed.

"As always, I assume." The talking bedroom replied.

"No! Actually not, Princess Lemon Pie." Jaret said with a big smile on his face. "He had a personality, just like me! A little bit rude, but he has a mind, he can think and speak to me!" He shouted.

"What? But that's impossible!"

"And not only that! He is brown and has the thing Dankpharasan has on his face!"

"A nose?"

"Yes! That! It was so tiny and cute! I feel that if I can press it, it will honk!"

"But that's impossible, let me see!"

Jaret then projected his conversation with Jefferson in the air. He let out a flying screen in the point of view of Jaret.

"He looks like nothing that is documented in the hive mind! It might be dangerous, Jaret, please be careful." Eyebrows were formed from more of Jaret's drawings, narrowing them.

"Don't worry Princess Lemon Pie! I'll be fine! He comes from another planet! And he's as sweet as lemon pie!"

"I'll watch out for you."

"So sweet of you! That's why I called you Princess Lemon Pie, Princess Lemon Pie."

Although the compliment, Princess Lemon Pie didn't get any better. She had a very bad feeling about it, but in any case, she was stuck in her creator's room.

"Anyways, it's time to shut down before the time limit passes. Good night, Princess Lemon Pie!" Jaret said as he laid on the deep hole of his bed. At the moment his back hanked on the hole, the form turned into a blanket and a pillow, both with drawings of an apple in it.

"Good night, sweet Jaret." She said and vanished. The drawings in the wall came back to normal.

Princess Lemon Pie shutted down, but Jaret didn't. As he was lying down and looking to the roof, he projected something out of his eyes. It was the hive mind. A place where you could search for what you need to do, facilitating tasks, and register your life. During the shut down process, everyone uploaded their memories to the cloud. Once in there, everyone could access your memories. Nothing should be a secret, everyone should be perfect and open. However, Jaret wasn't like everyone. During the shut down process, Jaret deviated his conversations with Jefferson to another folder. Years before Jefferson arrived at Vistarah-78, Jaret dedicated his free time to manipulate the hive mind. Jaret then created his own folder; a separate consciousness where he uploads things he keeps learning by himself without sucking it out of the hive mind. There, Jaret kept his imperfections. All the memories where he sang out of tune, where he stepped on a rock and fell to the ground, where he drew a tree in the wall of his alley and they came out deformed, he saved them there, and he laughed at them. They weren't mistakes, he titled that space as the path for natural perfection; the Jaret way.

Before Jaret shutted down, he reproduced one more time how he laughed at Jefferson's jokes, and how he heard how he was born. He then stopped projecting, and smiled to the sky. Jaret stopped emitting blue eyelight
