"Zora, stop running around!"

You curse the black ball of fur for the umpteenth time, too busy climbing on a costume rack to listen to you.

You hastily undo the ribbons of your left point shoe. Zora may be an indoor cat, but she doesn't like being locked up in a small dressing room for hours on end. If things continue like this, you're afraid she'll cause a disaster.

Mr. Neuvillette was kind enough to let you keep your pet at the Opera, you'd rather not abuse his trust.

You take off your second pointe shoe followed by your toe pad and pack everything back in your bag. Your feet are still swollen after doing so many somersaults on your toes, but you're ready for tonight's performance.

Dancing Odette from Swan Lake is a challenge you've been preparing to take on for almost a year. The level at Snezhnaya is all the higher because you have been prepared since childhood to dance on the greatest stages of Teyvat.

You sweep away a few white feathers that have fallen from your costume and remove the headdress in your hair.

Music in the Fontenian language is projected through a small device hanging on the wall. The delicate rhythm of the violins accompanies your makeup removal for about ten minutes.

The music fades to give way to silence announcing the start of a new piece.

This lapse of time allows you to see that something is wrong. It is too quiet.

You glance around, hoping to see Zora lying on the floor, cleaning her paws. But with the exception of a few black hairs, no trace of the cat is visible in the room.

"Zora?"

You hastily check your dance bag, the accessory trunk and the costume rack. You even look under the sink and the couch to make sure she's not hidden in a corner.

Your eyes fall on the door. You understand that you've made a big mistake.

You were so exhausted earlier that you didn't think to slam the door before coming to collapse on the couch.

And it looks like Zora took advantage of your back being turned to run away.

You swear under your breath in your native language as you rush into the hallway. Your loose hair is in disarray and falls in cascades on your shoulders. You're barefoot, except for your tights and still dressed in the same white feather tutu.

You pace the hallways calling the name of the animal. Fortunately, most of the dancers have already left the studio to enjoy their late afternoon. The doors are therefore locked, preventing a certain cat from sneaking in.

You run back up to the stage. You absolutely must find Zora before someone else stumbles upon her. If she ever causes trouble, you could have problems with the management of the Opera. You don't want to be forced to leave Zora at the hotel for the whole day or risk angering Dame Nadia, the director of your dance school.
