Sobek

(Author's Note: Round 2 - Part 2 requires us to write a drabble (a story of exactly 100 words - not counting this note) and must contain the words "Neverland" and "crocodile." For those interested, Sobek is the name of an ancient Egyptian Crocodile god)

Starship navigator, Gwen Aster, had a weird feeling in the pit of her stomach. Sobek had come out of FTL drive as cleanly as usual and was heading steadily toward Neverland solar system, but something didn't feel right. Nervously, she found herself rubbing the crocodile tattoo on her upper arm, something she'd had done as soon as she joined the crew.

But no lights were flashing ominously on the control panel. All seemed fine. She was probably worrying for nothing.

"Not long now," murmured the Captain with a smile. "It's that second star to the right. We should be there by morning."
