Always A Part Of Me

As I continue my journey
I have realized that time isn't moving slowly
Every second of the day must not be wasted
For everything may come to an end.

I wanted to make every inch memorable
'Cause if not, it will only cause me trouble
For I want you to know how much I love you
Not only in words but in deeds too.

I wanted you to be happy always
Through my simple and little ways
I wanted you to treasure everything
For I want it to have a greater meaning.

I wanted you to always remember me
And think of me as someone who made you happy
I wanted you to enjoy every moment we're together
For I know, moving on will only make things harder.

Through this poem, I wish for you to know
How much I cherish you and love you so
That you'll always be in my heart and mind
And I promise not to leave your side.

I admit that it would always make me cry
Every time I remember soon you'll be saying goodbye
I never would have wanted to let go
For I know it would hurt me so.

Just keep in mind
I'll always be by your side
To accept, care and appreciate everything you do
For you're my life and I love you.

Baby you'll always be in my heart
And in my life you'll have a great part
And even though how far you will be
You will always be a part of me.
