POV: Serenity Smith

I found my phone sometime after Chris and George left, and I decided to send Gloria text just explaining the basics of what happened. Se wanted to drive to where I was at, but I told her not to because I would probably head to her house the moment I leave Chris's house. The time was 11:39; Chris and his brother left around 5 something and still haven't returned yet. Should I call him? No, I don't want to be weird. I'll just keep calm. I just didn't want to be alone anymore. I'll just try to sleep and wait until he comes back.

Moments Later

POV: George James

We got back home around 12:51. Money said he wasn't tryna stay at the trap too late because of his lil friend Serenity, so we left right after he changed his clothes. I don't know what they got going on, but I think this nigga in love or something. I haven't seen him act like this since the day. 5 years ago when we found out about Lani's death.

"Yo, you straight?" Money asked, interrupting me from my thoughts.

"Yeah, I'm straight. You straight?" I replied quickly. This nigga not fooling nobody.

"Why you ask that?"

"You know why I asked that, Christopher."

He looked at me and scoffed before turning his gaze back on the road.

"Don't make that face. What the fuck is going on, nigga, talk to me." Still no reply from him.

"You just went into your Jack the Ripper bag and you gone sit and here and not say nun? I haven't seen you like since-"

"DON'T," he howled.

I stared at him blankly. Who the fuck was he talking to like that?

"He drugged her and tried to rape her at a party that I took her to."

"Hmm. Do you blame yourself?"

"Yes."

"Welp, street justice is justice gang, but what's going on with you and Serenity?"

His entire body tensed up when I said her name. The vein on this nigga neck popped out immediately. Wow, he is in love.

"Nun bro, we just real close, you know and I took her to the party. She already been through shit like this before and got mad issues because of it. That's it."

"Hm, okay, Chris. So, what's next? Do you know any information about him or his peoples?" I questioned.

"If anybody wanna do something, they can die too."

"Hmm, what happened to your word?" He didn't reply, and neither did I, for the rest of the drive home.

Once we arrived home, he dropped me off at the back of the house, warned me about making too much noise since Serenity might be asleep, and left to go switch cars. I headed into the apartment only to be met with loud cries coming from the inside of the room. I quickly called Chris; if he wasn't too far yet, he could come handle this and I could do the car switch instead. This nigga sent me straight to voicemail. Oh, my fucking God. I made my way to Chris's room and peeked inside.

"Serenityyy"

I got no response. Fuck!

I walked into the room to see what was going on, and what my eyes met in the room was more conflicting than anything I have ever seen in the past. This girl was still asleep while yelling at the top of her lungs. Here I was thinking that I had demons. What the fuck? Her body looked like it was seizing up or something, as if she was running from something in her sleep. I was actually horrified. What the fuck did that man drug her with?
