The next morning when Timmy woke up he heard a knock on his window it made him jump from fright.
He walked over to his window and saw it was just his friend Savanna. Knowing it was her he gave out a great sigh of relief.
He opened his window up and let her in with a smile upon his face.
"Have Sav! Morning!"
"Morning Timmy! I thought I could come over an hang out today since we don't have school is that alright?"
"Yea sure, jus let me get ready right quick you can sit at my desk if you want"
Savanna sat at his desk as she looked at all his drawings as he got ready in his bathroom down the hall.
She was looking and smiling at his drawings when she spotted one that was very unique. She picked it up and looked at it with her eyes looking fondly at the paper.
She wondered what it could be and why he'd draw such a thing, she was still looking at it when Timmy came back into the room.
"Hey Timmy? What's this drawing of?"
Oh... um...
Timmy didn't know what to say or how to say it. To tell her what it was.
"It's a drawing I did of my dad the night he went missing. There was this bright light you know? I told you about that. And I drew what I remembered seeing"
Savanna sat there remembering that mysterious night when his Father went missing. She had a sad look on her face.
"I'm sorry Timmy i didn't mean to bring back those things. I just saw this drawing on your desk and was puzzled by it and wondered what it was."
"It's alright I just had it out looking at it last night. I miss him, everyday. I can't help but wonder where he went or if I'd ever see him again"
"I'm sure you will! You jus have to have faith, I'm sure of it Timmy"
"Your right, wanna go to the field today? Or the park?"
"Mhm I was thinking the park and then the field. I have this new book I wanna read to you and I've got this real cool kite my mother gave me we can try it out together!"
"Sounds fun Sav! Let's do it! Let me tell my Mother where we're going"
Timmy ran down stairs in a flash and told his Mother where he was going with Savanna.
"Alright sweetie have fun and be safe!"
His Mother told him.
Savanna and Timmy got on their bikes and went off towards the park and as they were riding they saw something strange happening in the corner of the park. It was very strange this bright light and when they came to where they saw the light it vanished...
There was no sign of the light it's like it wasn't even there! Timmy and Savanna went and walked by the swings and started swinging and having a grand ol time tryin to think what that bright light could have been.
The creature was there once again hiding in the bushes trying not to be seen, it was watching them swing on the swings with a smile on his face.
He was waiting till night to make his move it knew that Timmy goes out there to the field every night. Timmy went out that way every night hoping he'd see his Father.
"He Sav?"
"Yea Timmy?"
"Um there's something I got to say I know I'm only 8 but I know that I like you and I like how we're best friends, I couldn't be happier with you being my friend. And I can't see my life without you by my side. Um so with that said could you please promise me you'd help me find my Father?"
