RINGGGGGG!!
Wilbur’s alarm went off, he sat up rubbing his temples groaning.
He wasn't a morning person and now he really wished that he asked Quackity if they could meet for their classes later.
Wilbur was getting ready changing into day clothes, brushing his hair and teeth, putting on his glasses, and packing a snack for later just in case he needed it.
When Wilbur decided he was ready to go he started to walk out the door but he fixed his hair first he wanted to look nice.
Wilbur was walking through the kingdom not as many people out except for the people setting up their shops for the day.
Some would wave and Wilbur waved back while some just ignored him and Wilbur did the same.
When Wilbur finally arrived at the castle he knocked on the obnoxiously big doors (he still doesn't understand why they need to be that large)
A few minutes of standing there, someone finally opened the door. One of the guards.
The guard looked him up and down suspiciously. It wasn't one who Wilbur recognized, probably someone he has never met before.
Quickly Wilbur held out his hand in a friendly gesture of a handshake “I'm Wilbur Soot, the princes poet or tutor per say-” He greeted.
The guard shook his hand smiling “Ah yes the prince told us you would be coming from now on! Come in the prince is waiting for you in his room” the guard invited him in.
Wilbur walked in the guard, closing the door behind them both. Wilbur looked around the castle in amazement, yes he was here just yesterday but he was more stressed about possibly getting exiled or worse executed than worrying about how beautiful the castle was.
“Follow me!” The guard guided Wilbur through the corridors and big ballrooms all decorated with paintings of some sort.
As they walked Wilbur looked around excaming every detail. The castle was so big he wondered how no one got lost in this place.
The guard led him upstairs where all the rooms were. There was an extra room which he assumed was storage or a guest bedroom possibly.
“Here we are Mr Soot” the guard said cheerfully standing in front of one of the doors.
“The prince should be in there just knock on the door I'm sure he is ready” The guard instructed then waved goodbye walking off.
Wilbur waved goodbye to the guard then stepped to the door, he was nervous to say the least.
He knocked on the door and in a few seconds Quackity opened up the door smiling wide.
“Wilbur!” He beamed giving the taller man a hug.
Wilbur was confused by the gesture but hesitantly he hugged Quackity back.
“Hi- we're here for tutoring?” Wilbur's voice was shaking but he tried to keep it under control.
Quackity let go and stepped back “Yes, yes come on!” He walked into his room and waved, gesturing for Wilbur to follow him in.
Wilbur followed Quackity into the room, closing the door behind him. When the door was closed Wilbur looked around the room.
This place was huge?! It had to at least be a little bit bigger than Wilbur's own house.
“Wow this is a big room…” Wilbur mumbled to himself, just loud enough to where Quackity could hear him.
“Yeah it is pretty big isn't it?” Quackity looked around the room.
“Yeah- so uh tutoring?” Wilbur was reminding Quackity what they were here for.
“Oh yeah right! Come, come” Quackity sat on his bed patting the spot next to him telling Wilbur to sit next to him.
Wilbur sat next to Quackity on the bed and Quackity grabbed some papers with writing on it.
“So what I want from you today is for you to look over some of my recent writings and mark things that are wrong and what needs improvement” Quackity assigned Wilbur, handing him a pen.
“Oh and if something is wrong or needs improvement tell me what to do to fix it” Quackity added.
Wilbur nodded basically all he was doing was proofreading Quackity's writings which should be easy enough.

A few minutes later

Wilbur just now only got to the second paper, and it turns out that Quackity really did need these lessons cause damn he was a bad writer…
Wilbur sighed of relief when he realized he was on the second paper cause he was so tired and was probably going to flop in bed as soon as he got home, even if his bed felt like he was laying on a bunch of rocks.
Which made him think these beds were so soft and not uncomfortable at all. He was a little jealous of Quackity.
Finally after 25 minutes of corrections and reading Wilbur finally finished proofreading Quackity's papers.
“Thank you so much Wilbur, this really helped!” Quackity was grateful for Wilbur's work looking over the papers and the little notes he left in case Quackity forgot everything Wilbur explained.
“Oh yeah it's no problem” Wilbur yawns laying back on the bed. He could pass out right here and he was so comfortable.
“You alright?” Quackity questioned. “Huh? Oh yeah fine, just really tired” Wilbur answered, stretching a bit.
“Oh- if you want you can go to sleep here I'm also a little tired” Quackity chuckled.
“Can we possibly not have these at 6 in the morning no more? I think that is too early for me” Wilbur asked.
“Oh yeah definitely, is 11 in the morning better for you?” Quackity laid back next to Wilbur.
Wilbur turned on his side “Yeah I think 11 is a great time” he smiled.
Even if it was still a bit early it was better than 6 in the morning. Quackity nodded “Then we'll have these everyday at 11 in the morning instead” Quackity confirmed turning on his side to face Wilbur.
Wilbur yawned again, blinking slowly; he was going to ask Quackity if he should leave since they were done for the day, but instead of speaking, sleep took over Wilbur's body and he fell asleep.
