Part 12: The First Kiss..

Karishma sat on the couch, clock indicated 7:30 in the evening, & Karishma took a long breath while tapping her nail on the cell screen, & she dialled the number of Haseena for the 9th time, & the head nurse picked it up, "Haseena", "doctor is busy with a surgery", & Karishma closed her eyes with tighten her fist, "very good", & Karishma cut the call, & dialled the number of Priya, "are you free", "no I am not" Priya quickly says..

"no, meri movie ticket waste ho jaayegi Pri, please chalo na mere saath movie dekhne, waha se dinner bhi karnge", Karishma pleadingly says, "I am on my date Karishma, go to your fiancée" & she cut the call on the face, & Karishma closed her eyes in anger, "I hate surgeon", & she dialled the number of Sam, "no I am not available, & I am on a diet" Sam says before Karishma speck, "aaj ki movie romantic hai Sam", "lekin mujhe horror movie pasand hai", "okay, so it's no", Karishma asked with a pouty tone, "yes, & have a great evening" & Sam cut the call..

Karishma exhaled with fumes eyes, & looked at the kitchen & with a stumping foot reached the kitchen, & opened the fridge, & pulled out the ice cream tub, & looked at the spoon with anger, & came back to the living area & sat on the couch with fumes eyes, & dig the spoon in ice cream tub, & eat one spoonful ice cream, "I hate it" & again she dig spoon in ice cream tub, & her cell rings, & she looks at the flashing name, & her anger feds away, lips quickly curved into smile, & she picked up the call, "so sorry, I am so sorry", "it's alright", "no, it's not alright at all, I promised you movie & dinner, & this emergency, I couldn't leave the hospital on time", Karishma feels a guiltiness in Haseena's voice, "stop it, & come home soon", "ahem, not possible, night shift for me today, I am sorry", "stop saying sorry again & again", "ok, dinner kar lena aur good night", "hmm" & they cut the call..

Karishma looks up at the roof and says, "Why me?" She keeps the ice cream tub in the fridge and walks towards her room..

The next early morning Haseena back home with a pack of food, & looked at Karishma's room still closed, & she checked the time, & whispered, "bahot jaldi mai aayi hun, kya karu", & she took a seat on the chair, & rolls her eyes on Karishma's working file, & she picked it up, & started to read, "want to go on a trip with Haseena" & Haseena checked the file name once with confusion, & again open it, & turned the page, where write it down a whole paragraph, but she get back on first page, & started to read wishing list of Karishma, "want to go on trip with Haseena", "want see Haseena sleeping peacefully, but that next to impossible" & Haseena laughs at the emoji of evil smile at the end of the sentence..

"I hate it, when she cancels the plan, but it's alright, she doing the best job", & Haseena twisted her lips in surprise, "she is perfect", "no, I am not", & the list Karishma's write ends, & she checks out other pages but there is only her writing, & she keeps the file side, & goes near the couch, & lay on it, & within a moment she sleeps..

Karishma looks at Haseena, who sleeps on couch, "why is she sleeping on couch" & she take a one step, "no, no, soone deti hun" & she looks at dining table, & a small food packet laying on there, & she peep in it, & surprise, & she looks at Haseena with a smile, "thank you for the sandwiches", & Haseena's phone started to ringing, & Karishma rolls her eyes, & Haseena picked up her cell with a sleepy eyes, "yes, speaking, (pause), okay I am coming, within a", & Haseena checks out the time, & says on call, "15 minutes", & Karishma shook her head unbelievably, & brings quickly a coffee mug, & Haseena seat on a couch, on her knees, & looks at Karishma who keeps the mug on table, & tiredly smiles at Karishma, & says, "mai brush karke aati hun", Karishma only nods, & Haseena quickly runs in washroom, & Karishma brings cookies for Haseena, & Haseena came back in same shirt, & Karishma says, "kapde toh change karo", "nah, nah, waha par 6 ghante ki surgery ke liye khada rehna hai, case thodi complicated hai, but I'll mange, but before surgery, I need to talked with a patient, & give assurance", & she looks at Karishma's confused face, & Haseena nods a little, & take a bite of cookie, & says, "aisa karne se patient adhi battel jeet jaata hai, jab woh operation bed par hota hai, issye doctor ko aur bhi jaada confident aata hai, ke usska patient sahi salamat uss OT se bahar aayega" & Karishma smiles, "cookies are delicious", & Karishma smiles only, & Haseena quickly drink coffee, & says, "hopefully aaj mai jaldi aau aur hum sach mei diner aur movie kar sake", "waiting for that precious day", & Haseena smiles, & quickly wears her shoes, & bid bye to Karishma, "bye have good day" & Karishma's smiles feds away with a sad grin..

"you father is good, & with in some hour he will smiles at you again" Haseena says with a smile, who coming out of the OT room, & talked with a relatives with a smile, her body drain in sweat, & she share a good smile with people, & head nurse handover report to Haseena, & she looks at nurse, "Joe you can handover it to me in my cabin as well", "sorry doctor but I don't think you will get time for to read the reports" confusingly Haseena looks at nurse, "your fiancée is in the cabin" Haseena surprised by Karishma's presence in the hospital, & Haseena first read the reports, & signed on it, & walks towards the cabin, & found Karishma seated on couch, "oh my god, what are you doing here, I am surprised" & Haseena let down her shoes, & scrub, & Karishma smiles, & says, "mujhe pata chala tum sidha kal subhe ghar aaogi, toh socha abhi tumhara saath dinner karloon, aur rahi baat movie ki toh woh hum ghar par dekhlege", "I am so sorry, for the first time you asked something, I did not provide you that, I feel so devastated right now" Haseena non stop talking & her voice fills with guiltiness, but Karishma's eyes stuck on Haseena's lips, who only moving rhythmically, & she captured Haseena's lips, without give any signal, Haseena widens her eyes in shocked & her body frozen, & Karishma round her hands around Haseena waist, that Haseena couldn't pushed her away, & Haseena feels her lips tugged with Karishma & slowly she hold Karishma's side head, & other hand moves back, & lips moves in slow motion, it was soft, gentle, no rushed from both of them, till Haseena broke of the kiss, due to lack of oxygen..

"woah" & Haseena took a long breath, "maar hi daalti mujhe" & she grabbed Karishma's hand, & kept it on her chest, "feel this, yeh bahar aa raha hai, I think, mujhe heart attack aa raha hai", & playfully Karishma hit a punch on Haseena's chest..

"woah I am in sweaty clothes, & stinky socks, how could you kiss me with this bad smell" & this time Karishma hit hard on Haseena's chest, & carefully Haseena captured Karishma's lips, & again she left Karishma's lips, & says, "how can you kissed me like this', "I regret it that I kissed you" Karishma says with an irked tone, "you ruined our first kissed, how unromantic you are", & Haseena smiles at Karishma, & kissed on her temple with closed eyes, & then smooch on her lips, "I think I am in love with you", "you think" Karishma asked with a stern tone, & Haseena chuckle, "no, I am in love with you Karishma, I love you", "I love you too" & Haseena looks Karishma's gazed at her lips, & slowly capture Karishma's lips, & this time kiss her love tenderly & passionately..
