To be honest, I was scared going to the dark forests alone but I wouldn't show that to anyone especially not jackson. As I kept walking, I heard a voice.
"Happy Birthday, kid." Jackson's voice was smooth but carried a chilling undertone. "Brave of you to trust what I said and come alone all this way" his voice echoed throught the trees. "And you still aren't brave enough to show up infront of me" I shout in the dark.

"You're just like her... your mother." he said moving close to me. My eyes narrowed as I try to push away the growing tension. "Cut the crap, Jackson. You left me that note. What do you want?"
