The bathroom was filled with steam, the air thick with warmth. Hyunjin stepped into the bathroom. He saw his husband, Felix, standing under the stream. Droplets glistened on his skin, making him look ethereal as he lathered shampoo through his hair, completely lost in his own world.
"Baby," Hyunjin called, his voice a smooth whisper that cut through the sound of rushing water. Felix turned, a smile spreading across his face, eyes sparkling with affection.
"Hey, babe," he replied, tilting his head slightly, letting the water drip from his chin. "Want to join me?"
As Felix rinsed his hair, "Always," Hyunjin said with a grin, removing his clothes and stepping closer until the warmth of the water surrounded them both. He wrapped his arms around Felix's waist from behind, resting his chin on his shoulder. "You look so beautiful like this, you know that?"
Felix's cheeks flushed with a mixture of shyness and pride. "You're just saying that to make me blush."
"No, really," Hyunjin insisted, pressing soft kisses along Felix's neck. "Look at us." He motioned to their reflection in the mirror, steam fogging the glass, but still revealing their bodies entwined. "You're my pretty prince, and I'm yours."
Felix's breath hitched at the intensity of Hyunjin's gaze. "I love it when you say that," he admitted, a soft smile playing on his lips.
“What did you do the whole day?” Hyunjin asked, kissing Felix’s shoulders, trailing his lips down to the curve of his collarbone. Felix leaned back against him, the warmth of Hyunjin's body blending with the heat of the water.
“Just finished some work stuff and then Ji came to hang out for a bit,” Felix replied, “I missed you, though.”
Hyunjin’s grip tightened around Felix’s waist, the water streaming over them as he pulled him closer. “I missed you too. I thought about you the entire time,” he confessed, his lips brushing against Felix’s skin, sending shivers down his spine. “I couldn’t wait to get home and see you like this.”
Felix melted against Hyunjin, feeling the warmth radiate from him as the water cascaded around them. “You have a way of making everything feel better,” Felix whispered, tilting his head back to meet Hyunjin’s eyes.
Hyunjin’s lips curled into a smile. “Well, it’s my job as your husband,” he said. “I’m here to make you feel good.”
With that, he pressed soft kisses along Felix's collarbone, trailing his lips down the line of his chest as Felix was pressed against the cold tiles. Each kiss ignited a spark in Felix, the sensation heightened by the steam surrounding them. “God, you are always so good for me,” Hyunjin murmured against his skin, his breath warm.
