The next day Lucy and I went on a shopping trip at the local shopping centre (mall).  We had planned it all out; which shops we were going to go to, what food we were going to eat, and what movie we would go watch at the cinema.  Or should I say movies?  That's right; we were going to go to the Harry Potter marathon at the cinemas.  Even though it wasn't really a marathon, as it was only the first four movies, I was excited, which made Lucy excited.  I swear Lucy lived to make me happy.

Our shopping spree was going to be huge, and we both knew that from the moment we woke up.  We made sure to not wear heels, as we didn't want to get blisters from wearing them for 24hrs.  The Harry Potter marathon went till 9am the next morning, and we were leaving at 9am this morning to do our trip.

I ended up wearing black converse, black jeggings (jeans/leggings combo), a black top with dark embellishments on the top of the shoulders, and a black cardigan covered with red roses.  My hair was placed into a high sports-like ponytail and tied with a long red ribbon, leaving my bangs out.  Lucy, however, dressed opposite to me in terms of colour.  My look was mainly black, whereas Lucy's was pastel.  She wore a long pastel-patterned (mainly purple, pink, and white) dress with white sandals and a cute white jacket that held pink flowers at the front.  Her hair was left down and had been purposely curled in waves that cascaded down her back.  She also had her fringe pulled back and tied at the back with a clear elastic.  Lucy also wore makeup and lipgloss, whereas I wore none.

The first shop of the day to visit was Angus and Robertson, where we spent forever searching for new books to read.  I ended up purchasing the Trylle trilogy, which was written by Amanda Hocking.  Lucy, however, picked up The Mortal Instruments series written by Cassandra Clare.

We then went into Forever 21, where Lucy had a field day.  She bought a "Just Did It Tee" for $15, a "Smocked off-the-Shoulder Dress" for $23, a "Gypsy Warrior Sabrina Bell Sleeve Dress" for $38, a "Abstract Print Tulip Pants" for $23, a "Belted Chambray Shorts" for $20, and a "Buttoned Crepe Collared Dress" for $20.  I had bought a "Floral-Embroidered Peasant Top" for $28 and a "Crochet-Panelled Denim Shorts" for $20.

After clothes shopping at Lucy's favourite clothes store, we went to Spend-less Shoes, where I purchased a pair of black "Maddy" wedges for $50 and Lucy bought a pair in white.  I also bought a pair of black "Sage" ankle boots for $50, and a pair of black "Bernie" ankle boots for $80.  Lucy also purchased a pair of "Crown" sandals for $30, a pair of white "Vixen" heels for $50, and a pair of white "Eternity" ballet flats for $40.

We then walked out to the food court to go get some lunch.  Yes, it was midday already!  Once we were sat down and had our food and drinks (Red Rooster with a frozen mango drink, of course!!!), we started talking.  We talked about random stuff; our favourite hobbies, colours, books, movies, etc.  Although we had talked long distance, nothing could beat conversations in person.  At this moment, life was good... Better than it had been in a long time.

But, of course.... life never stays good for long.  I looked up from my chicken, and that's when I saw him...
