You were looking for Sonic, a corpse in your arms. You entered his cave, finding a familiar bat on a table, his emerald green eyes were cloudy and lifeless. he was carved open, and had a gaping head wound. His blood was spilled onto the table, dripping onto the floor. It was the color of Rubies, such a pretty color.
You shook your head as you put the corpse down, now examining the dead bat on the table. It's clear he was killed recently, he had a dull emotionless look on his face.
You didn't have much time to figure out what happened due to Sonic walking into the cave "Well, well, well look who it is!" He chuckled "Come to bring me another snack?"
