I go out to check the mail with a now 5 month old Mad on my hip. I walk back into the house sitting her on my lap.
I open a letter. "Look its an invatation from your cousins!" I say in my baby voice. Josh and Laur are almost 1!
Wait... THATS TODAY. (in the book) I rush to brush my hair and get dressed.
I decide on
•Black crop top
•faded high-waist shorts
•black vans
I pick up Mad and dress her
•pink "Daddys Girl" shirt
•shorts
•flowered flats
"DYLAN COME ON" i shout. He runs downstairs and grabs the keys. I grab my bag and put the carseat in the car buckling Mad in.
**At the arcade**
Dylan's holding Mad as Laur runs up to me. "Hi babygirl"I say squating down giving her a tight hug.
She then toddles off to Dylan and I see Josh.
"Sawah!" He screams. He runs into my arms and i pick him up.
"Hey Josh!" I say. He waves also toddling to Dylan. I go put the gift on the table and talk to Veronica.
After they cut the cake and open gifts everyone leaves.
"Did you have fun babygirl?" I smile to Madelyn. She giggles and i smile. The doorbell rings and i sit her on the couch and open it.
"DESSY!PEYTON!" I scream. They smile at me hugging me tightly. I let them in and we talk. Sooner or later all the boys and the rest of the girls are here.
"Hey guys lets talk about things from like three years ago, we can have a throwback day!" Carter says.
My heart drops. Three years ago was awful. I was a sex slave. "Remember when we first met Sarah?" Carter says.
My eyes widen as Dessy,Cait,Veronica,and Peyton look over at me. They were the only ones who knew i was a sex slave.
"E-excuse me" I say standing up running upstairs to the bathroom. I slump down on the floor. I hate even being reminded that i was a sex slave.
A small part of me still hates all of them. And right now Carters part wasn't as small. I heard knocks on the door.
"Who is it?" I say.
"Nash"
I open the door before slumping back onto the floor. Nash hugged me tightly as I cried softly.
"I dont know what Carter was thinking" he said rubbing my back.
I shrug "he knows how much i hate being reminded of it.. and why would he say that around the other girls!" I say.
Nash pulls me up. "Just avoid it" he says. I nod and wipe my eyes going back downstairs. I sit down further away from Carter.
I place Mad in my lap playing with her. I smile at her and look up to see eyes on me. I roll my eyes and look back down.
"Sarah?" I look up to see Cam. I raise an eyebrow and look down at Madelyn whos reaching for him. I nod and he takes her but sits beside me.
"Im sorry about what Carter said, it was a pretty dick move for him to say that." He whispers.
I shake my head "Im fine, little upset but im good." I respond. He just nods.
"Sarah whats going on?" Meg asked. I shook my head. "Tell us" she said. I shook my head again. "Sa-" she began but Hayes cut her off.
"Dont pressure her" he says. "Well i just wanna know!" She says. "Why did you freak out when Carter mentioned meeting you?" She ask.
"I'm not ready to talk about this" i say. "Come on we've known you for three years!" Meg says.
"Meg stop, she'll tell you guys when shes ready!" Cait says.
Meg looks at Cait "so you know? Does anybody else know but the boys.
Cait,dessy,Veronica and Peyton raise their hands.
"Sarah tell me!" Meg says. "STOP" i scream. Meg looks at me. "I'll tell you when im ready, just leave me alone" i say. I look down and close my eyes.
Carter looks at me "Sarah I-"
"Drop it, dont you talk to me either. Thanks for bringing this up by the way" i smile for a quick second before rolling my eyes looking away.
"Im so-"
"How could you? Why would you even bring that up! You know the way i met you makes me feel bad about myself! A part of me still hates all of you! But the fact that you brung it up makes me hate you even more! Feel proud?" I say before storming upstairs.
Oooo carter look whatchu done did.
