He would've actually processed where he was if his head wasn't pounding and the room wasn't so dark. All he knew is that he could feel a warm arm around him and he could just about hear the muffled sound of a heartbeat.

Sighing with relief, he could recognise that heartbeat anywhere.

He didn't remember much from last night - nor could he really remember anything from the past few days - but if he was in Nya's arms, nothing else really mattered. He had her and that's all he needed.

The room was dark, minus the little light coming from his fairy lights, and there was no sunlight peeking through the gaps in his curtains, so it was clearly still night.

He didn't know what time he went to sleep or how he even got here to be honest. It still felt like his mind had drifted from his body and he was left in autopilot mode, but at least he wasn't thinking about his fight with Cole or anything that'd been driving him insane the past few weeks.

It'd be a challenge to get back to sleep though now that he wasn't completely dazed.

He tried his best not to wake Nya as he pushed himself up slightly, giving himself a clear view of the digital clock on his bedside table.

03:41

"Shit."

He pushed himself up out of her grasp and gripped onto the bed sheets, pulling himself towards the end of the bed. His head spun as she moved, everything becoming suddenly light.

Perhaps he just needed to stretch. He had been laying down for a long time.

That was until he felt a warm, gentle hand touch his arm. He turned to look before he could probably get off the bed, and his blurry eyes met his lover's sleepy ones.

"Sorry, I didn't mean to wake you," he whispered, hoping she'd just go back to sleep.

"Where are you going?" she mumbled, gripping his arm.

Jay was still half asleep, "I'm late for training."

Nya began to sit up a little, blinking at him in confusion. She was expecting him to laugh, or make a joke and say he was just going to the bathroom, but when she noticed the non-comical expression upon his face, she felt her stomach churn.

She checked the time, rubbing her eyes before checking again, and glanced back to Jay with a shocked expression.

"Wha-?" she pulled on his arm, "Jay, you're dreaming, get back into bed."

He tried to break free of her grasp, "no, I need to get up."

"It's 3am, Jay, it's Saturday," she told him, "training doesn't start until 9."

"But I like to get a head start and-"

"At 3am?!" she questioned, "that's a whole 6 hours."

"That's what I normally do."

Nya didn't even know how to respond. She just stared at him for a minute, wishing he was just joking around, but with how he'd been last night and how distant he'd been recently, it didn't really seem that much of a joke. Had he really been doing this and she hadn't noticed?

No wonder he was exhausted. The lack of sleep was beginning to catch up to him.

"You get up every morning to train at 3am? Are you serious ?" she still didn't want to believe it though.

He nodded, "I... thought you knew."

"You think I'd let you train in the middle of the night?" she raised an eyebrow, "are you crazy?"
