Inhan pushed open the door to the stairwell of the hotel, the metal frame protesting as he stumbled into the dimly lit corridor. The muffled sounds of laughter and music from the party upstairs faded, replaced by a heavy silence that seemed to press down on him. It was Lee Woojin's birthday party, a night that was supposed to be filled with joy and celebration. But for Inhan, it felt more like a suffocating cage, the weight of recent events bearing down on him.

His face was a canvas of bruises, fresh cuts weaving crimson lines across his skin, and blood dripped steadily from a gash on his brow. His clothes were rumpled and stained, a testament to the vicious bullying he had endured at the hands of his wealthier classmates. As a scholarship student at Jooshin High, he had long been a target, and tonight's humiliation had reached new heights.

With each hurried step down the staircase, Inhan felt a mix of fear and desperation. He just wanted to escape, to find solace from the pain that clung to him like a shadow. But as he reached the landing, something caught his eye—an unexpected sight that made him freeze in his tracks.

There, on the landing above him, stood Woojin and Ms. Han, his teacher. They were locked in an embrace, their lips pressed together in a kiss that radiated intimacy and secrecy. Inhan's heart sank as he processed the shocking tableau before him. How could this be happening? A teacher and a student? The weight of the moment felt surreal, as if the ground had shifted beneath him.

The world around him blurred as he struggled to comprehend the betrayal. Anguish surged within him, a potent mix of disbelief and disgust. This was the last thing he needed to see tonight—a reminder of the chaos in his life, a symbol of everything that felt wrong in his world.

The silence shattered when Woojin and Ms. Han broke apart, their eyes wide with shock as they registered Inhan's presence. "Inhan!" Ms. Han exclaimed, her voice a mixture of surprise and panic. She stepped forward, instinctively trying to reach him, while Woojin placed a hand on her arm, holding her back as if to shield her from the inevitable fallout.

Inhan felt a swell of emotion—hurt, anger, disgust and a profound sense of betrayal. "What the hell are you doing?" he shouted, his voice cracking under the weight of his feelings. It was a desperate question, filled with pain and confusion. The echo of his words hung in the air, sharp and poignant.

Ms. Han's heart raced as she stepped toward Inhan, her mind a flurry of thoughts. "Inhan, please! Just let me explain!" she called, her voice trembling with urgency. She gently pushed Woojin aside, who watched her with wide eyes, a mix of confusion and concern etched on his face.

But Inhan didn't stop. The sight of them together ignited something in him—a mixture of betrayal and anger. He turned and bolted down the stairs, each step pounding against the weight of his emotions. He burst through the door at the bottom of the building, gasping for air as he stepped into the cool night.

"Inhan, wait!" Ms. Han shouted, her voice echoing off the hotel walls. She raced after him, heels clicking loudly against the pavement, but Inhan was already sprinting across the road, desperate to put distance between them. He didn't dare look back, afraid that if he did, he would break.

He dashed across the street, adrenaline surging as he realized he had a head start. His heart pounded in his chest, and the throbbing pain from his wounds flared with every stride. Behind him, Ms. Han stumbled out of the hotel, her heels clattering against the pavement as she tried to catch up. The distance between them widened; she was no match for his desperation.
