Chapter 7 - Only a Moment

Smiling, Y/n reaches over and hugs Florence as she says, "Flo, hey. How are you?"

"I'm good thanks," Florence replied. She lets go of Y/n and places her hands on her arms. "You?"

"Been better, thanks." Y/n bites her lip and sighs. "Listen I'm sorry for not keeping in touch and all. I had something...personal going on."

"No it's okay. Just glad you're alright. You know Sebastian's been worried about you?"

Y/n's speechless, but feels awful for forgetting about him. "Oh God." She covers her face, feeling guilty.

"What's going on?"

Y/n pleads with Florence. "Please don't make me tell."

"Why? You can trust me can't you?"

"I do trust you, but if I tell you, I don't want anyone else to know about it."

"What about Sebastian? He has the right to know."

"And I promise, I will tell him," Y/n whispers. "Just please, promise me."

Seeing the pleading and sincerity in her eyes, Florence nods. "I promise," replying softly.

Y/n pulls Florence over and explains everything. At the same time, David looks for Sebastian and feels sorry for him until Jake comes to the set and shouts, "Okay, I want all of you to get in positions and I want to begin with Julia talking with Wyatt about the mission."

"Okay, places everyone," shouts a Staff Member.

Everyone disperses, including Y/n and Florence who go by the wall, next to the long table with food, hiding behind a statue. Once there Jake gets behind the camera and examines the scene. "Quiet on set!"

"Quiet on set!"

Seeing that everyone is silent and ready, Jake nods at the cinematographer to begin rolling. "Ready, and action."

As Wyatt and Julia act the scene, as his character, Sebastian observes the area. But as he does, he notices something is off. He notices that Florence is talking to someone behind the statue. Staring, he wonders who Florence is talking to and why they're whispering to one another.

"Oh my God," says Florence. "Y/n, I'm so sorry. I can't believe...you're not hurt are you?"

"No, I'm okay," Y/n replies.

"You've got security on you right? Like police or witness protection?"

"No."

"Why not? The guy's literally been stalking you for several weeks."

"Actually it's been longer than that."

Concerned, Florence raises her eyebrow. "What do you mean?"

As Y/n continues to explain to Florence what happened, Sebastian continues to stare. Unable to see that Y/n's back.

"Cut!" shouts Jake. He walks in front of the camera then walks up to Wyatt and Julia. "Try that again please. Then we'll move on with Florence talking to David. Okay?" He gets behind the camera again. "Take mark. And action!"

"You've got to be kidding me," barks Florence. "Wy haven't the police done anything?"

"They're trying but every time they come close, he disappears," Y/n replied softly. "It's why I left and moved to a different apartment. Since I started working here, security knows about my predicament. Even Jake and Kevin know."
