August 5th 8:30 am
Mai dressed quickly, she'd thrown on a white tank top tucked into her dark blue high wasted shorts, she then put on a flowly tank top that reached a little below the waistband of her shorts, and then headed down stairs. When Mai neared the kitchen she saw Naru drinking tea, Blondie was twiddling her thumbs nervously, while the rest were looking at Dean with a weird expression. When Mai entered she could FEEL Dean staring her down, why she didn't know.
"Good Morning..." She said a little reluctantly. Why was every one so tense all of the sudden?
Dean turned his attention to Mai smiling brightly in her direction, "How did you sleep?"
"I slept great," Mai answered with a smile.
"No more nightmare's?" He asked.
That go everyone's attention, even Naru looked up at Mai. Great she had really wanted to not have to explain what she dreamed about. "Nope." She answered him, knowing she was going to have to explain it to them later. With that said Mai ate quickly and headed toward the main room. As she ate Monk filled her in, letting her know that Dean wanted to talk to them all. In the living room, that air became heavier, and Mai was sure it was because of what ever Dean had to tell them. Blondie sat in her own chair while the rest of them stood waiting for what Dean needed to say.
"My sister hasn't been completly honest with you guys," His arms crossed over his chest. "For the past two years that we've lived in this home, in the beginning not much happened, and when it started happening, my sister went out to find a team who could solve that problem."
We know that, thought Mai...
"But," he smiled sadly, "Your probably the fifth team of paranormal researchers who are here to 'help'."
Mai's mouth dropped a bit, fifth team? What happened to the other four?
Dean looked towards Mai, then back at the team, "In each group, the psychic female is always targeted. and if the psychic isn't female, this thing wont try much of anything. The last group had a male psychic, and it did nothing to him." He sighed, and for the first time Mai saw how tired they were. "This thing feeds off of us, why we don't know."
He sat down on the table rubbing his face in his hands, "It's not that I don't want your help, I just don't think you can help us."
Mai bit her lip, if it was up to her, she'd say yes, but it was up to Naru. For the first time in a while Naru sighed heavily, he stole a glance at Mai, he saw how determined she looked to help him, and Dean had just given them some knowledge that could help them. "We'll need number's of the past investigators, I want any notes, video's, voice recordings, and data that might have been left behind." Looking around the home, Naru mentally kicked himself, this wasn't going to be easy, and depending on the legitimacy of the other companies could play a big part in what will happen, "I'm not making any promises, and I won't sugar coat anything that happen's." With that Naru left the room, having given orders he knew today would be a long day.
It was Lunch time when Naru stormed into the room. A camera had been left behind, and he'd been reviewing the footage. What ever he saw had pissed him off. Dean was sitting at the table, his sister had made sandwiches, once everyone sat down Naru looked over at Dean and Blondie. "Did you know?"
Dean and Blondie looked over at Naru, "About the tape." He looked straight at them.
"No, I don't know" Dean continued, "They told us that if we looked at it, it would scare Beth, So I kept it in that box."
Naru nodded solemnly, "I have a few questions to ask."
Mai felt a chill slide down her spine.
"When exactly did things around here get worse?" He watched as both thought about it.

Ghost Hunt (A continued Fan-Fic)
ParanormalThis is not an Alt. version of my other Ghost Hunt, this is a completely different spin off. I got the idea of doing another one because a lot of people seem to quit the ghost hunt series. So this is a more case orientated story. I hope you enjoy it...
