 YES. they have a 14 year age gap, but they met when they were adults and in their 30's-40's. those are grown ass men who are mentally and physically mature enough to have a relationship. for reference, alex was 30, jeffs was 44 when they first met. this would've been an issue if they met as minors/met when one was in their 20's and the other was in their 10's or something like that and I would NEVER have entertained the idea of this ship, but in this case they're both adults who can consent.

"they're enemies/they hated each other!" r u stupid that's.. lit the point of the ship? like we're exploring the enemies to lovers dynamic and how differently things would've been if they had a relationship in some way.

HARDCORE Jeffmads shippers annoying asf ngl, like yes we get it jeffmads could probably be the closest canon ship with madison other than his wife and realistically, Yes, no one else Works better with them other than them. I recognize that them being love interests makes a lot of sense but Then i also need you to realize is that it was Never Yhay Serious. Stop hating on thomgelica jamilton and other legal thomas/madison ships it's honestly js Pathetic Plz get a life /: (chat I know i sound like a hypocrite but STOP!) speaking as a really big jeffmads fan/enjoyer lol

I also LOVE platonic jamilton, something about the enemies to best friends dynamic really hits a part of my heart. if u want my HONEST non-biased opinion on the "Hamilton & jefferson friendship trope", I'd say that i dont think alexs morals would allow that in the first place, thomas would either have to be a much better person or they somewhat bond over something they both relate on (like hating on John Adam's) 

bunny yams tried to do that and it was Js ass tbh... but i guess besides that, alex shit talks everybody w/his friends (ex. him and Laurens) and so does thomas, so it'd be more evident if they were friends with each other, i mean. far too much would change, i can def see a dynamic for them if they were friends which would be.. shit talkers/gossipers supreme. i dont think alex wouldve been too happy being his friend at times considering thomas is lit a supremacist so 😂😂 AWKWARD !!

i can totally see them shit talking at cabinet meetings. and I imagine that if they WERE friends/romantically involved, they wouldn't lose their rivalry or stop insulting each other. alex would still want to throw a chair at thomas anyways 💖
