"Where We Begin"

Many covens were scattered throughout the land, but were not similar in any way. The main coven was the "The Tomb". The Tomb coven was lead by its High Priestess, Master Ae-Rin. This is where our story begins...

"여러분, 저는 매우 중요한 결정을 내렸습니다. 운이 좋은 7명의 조합원의 삶에 영향을 미칠 결정입니다." (Children, I have made a very important decision. A decison that will influence the lives of seven lucky members of our coven.) Ae-Rin announced as she held a glass bowl in her hands with small strips of paper with names on it. Names she'd choose in a few short  minutes.

The Tomb coven were either excited for the upcoming news, or they were absolutely terrified of what the news could mean. Everyone gathered around. Ae-Rin continued with her announcement, "I have made my selection. Step forward when you here your name called." With bated breathe, Ae-Rin began naming names.

"JiU." She immediately stepped forward bowing respectfully. Ae-Rin called out another name as she offered a smile to her coven, "SuA." SuA got in line beside JiU as she bowed herself out of respect.

More names were called out rapidly, "Siyeon."

"Handong."

"Yoohyeon."

"Dami."

"Gahyun."

Once all of them were lined up & bowing Ae-Rin revealed why she had called on the seven women of her coven. "이제 일곱 분이 떠나야 할 때입니다. 당신의 사명은 당신의 힘을 진정으로 이해하는 것입니다. 나는 당신 자신을 증명할 기회를 주고 있습니다. 나는 당신을 언약 밖으로 보냅니다..." (It is time for the seven of you to leave. You mission is truly understanding your power. I am giving you an opportunity to prove yourselves. I am sending you out of the coven...)

Handong was the first to question this decision. "What ? Why ? What would you need to cast us out for ?" JiU earged on Handong' previous questions, "Exactly ! Why would you do this ?"

Ae-Rin smirked as she clasped her hands together to silence the questions & shouts of The Tomb coven. "The decision has been made carefully, I assure you. To truly unlock your power you must venture outside of the safety the coven has always given you. You will leave tonight when the moon reaches its highest peak in the sky..."

Final. Everything was already set to happen. Dami remained quiet even though the decision frustrated her so. This is when she heard a gentle voice in her head.

"걱정하지 마세요, 아이... 내가 이끌게요 그냥 떠나세요..."
(Fear not, Child... I'll lead you. Just leave...)

Soon enough the moon reached its highest peak in the sky. The seven watched as their coven' doors shut behind them. No goodbyes, just cast out.

"Where do we go from here ?", Siyeon asked softly. SuA grinned finding a bit of optimism in their situation. "Why we just take it as we go ? It isn't like the coven will let us back in now. This doesn't have to be as hard as ee think it will be, right ?"

The trek began. They left the shelter of The Tomb coven & ventured out on their own. It wasn't long before they reached the first village they'd seen. Dami was till quiet, but she noticed this village had a apothecary shop. Gahyun noticed where Dami' eyes drifted to & brought it up to the rest of them, "들어가야 할까요? 우리의 진정한 힘을 찾아야 하는 이 미션에 사용할 수 있는 무언가가 있을지도 모릅니다?" (Should we go in ? They might have something we could use on this supposed mission of finding our true power ?)

Eventually all of them agreed. The shop looked fully stocked as they entered it. The shopkeeper was a witch named Hyejin. "Looking for something, girls ?", Hyejin asked them as she noticed they looked familiar with what her shop had, but looked wary to ask her help.

Most of them sheepishly giving smiles, claiming to just be looking around. Dami spoke up as she gently held up a witch' tome. "What about this tome ? It looks interesting. Can you tell me about it ?" Hyejin smiled as she approached Dami, "It is a standard tome. It is said the spells within this tome are very effective. There is a theory this tome once belonged to the goddess Hecate. However, I have been told this tome has a dark energy by those who've entered my shop."

Dami chuckled as she sat the book on the shop counter. "Can I take it ? My friends & I could learn a lot from such a tome. As for the energy... I feel this tome is misunderstood. Hyejin looked relieved, "Take it then. I haven't been able to sell it & you seem to genuinely want it."

It wasn't long before the girls were on their way once again. SuA began a hum as they ventured on again. Slowly, one by one, the other girls joined in...
