The Second Chance

Young Again?

She woke up on a railway track. She saw a big clock at a distance. She walked straight not thinking about anything.

The blue colour started fading away and the place looked like a forest. She saw a girl at a distance and decided to approach her . But the girl turned around and pointed an arrow at her . Before she could tell anything , she got shot .

She suddenly woke up hearing her mom's voice. Lara asked ," mom what's happening? Why am I here? " . Her mom responded , " are you blind? You are at home! Now go fetch water". She was shocked to see herself in the mirror. Cause she looked 17 . Then she thought that everything was a dream and went outside. She did all the chores and got ready for school.

After school, her aunt told her ," you said you wanted to learn tailoring right? Come I'll teach you the basics" . She got confused and told her she'll learn it later. She was thinking about what happened before she woke up and went into the bathroom to check if there was any change in her body.

She had a tattoo on her body where the girl in the forest shot her . It said "cherish every moment". She went into deep thoughts and realised the girl in the forest was none other than, it's her own daughter. She realised she made her travel time as a second chance. She said to herself , " I'll make sure I get what I want"

From that day she lived her life again . She met her friends again and was so happy that she got to meet them after a long time . She hugged her friends in excitement while her friends looked at her in disgust.

She studied hard . It was easy for her to study as it was her second time in high school. She got the first mark in her school and the district. Everyone praised her . She was happy and was celebrating with others . Soon, her mother came to her and told her she'd marry someone and the groom will come to the house next week to their house.

The groom's family has arrived. Lara got ready to meet her future husband. She thought about the times she spent with him in the future and blushed.

She met him . His name was
His name was "Leo" . When they were allowed to talk in private, she told him , " I'm determined to have a job of my own . I want my own identity as a citizen and not just as your wife . So if your family doesn't prefer women having a job , please end this here " .
However leo already fell for her and said , " even if my mom restricts you from having a job , I'll convince her . I promise " . Lara felt shy as he grabbed her hand .

Everything was good and they soon got married .

She remembered signing the same paper. She smiled at him and the marriage came to an end .

She got an opportunity to get a government job just like before she knew her mother -in-law would never let her have a job . But she believed her husband would convince her . An argument arises in the house and the mother -in-law scolds her husband for not obeying her . Finally he convinced her . However, if Lara had to work, she'll be working in a place near her village but her husband has a job far away. So her mother -in-law asks her son how they will get to be together when she has a job here. She unwillingly leaves with her husband and tells him she'll find a job somewhere else .

Time goes by , she finds a government job. She does all the chores and still manages to be at work on time.
