Eternity means never having to let go of what you already have. But on the other hand, it also means giving up on all other possibilities. That's just the way of the world... No one can have everything.

And here goes this vase... maybe I can put some lunar tears inside. I should now go and check the fountain... I wanna paint it silver, make it look like it's sprouting moonlight.
The Nogitsune gave off a long yawn, "Hmm... good morning sunshine. Oh, you've been renovating the lunar temple I see. My my, such a serene scenery."
I slowly move towards the fountain, "Good morning Nogi. I'm going to colour the fountain now."
Nogitsune: "Yes, I heard you. I was thinking, it would be really nice if you could remove the roof from the fountain room and turn it into an atrium, hmm?"
Wow! Yes you're right. That should give it a new look.
Nogitsune: "Now after all that, say, when are we going to tidy our real-life room? It's been looking like a real mess of a warehouse for the past few months. Maybe even years. You don't want to tell me you really enjoy living in this... hole, do you now, sweetie?"
I give out a big sigh and look around. Our room was not far from one of those zombie infested hatching grounds we saw in movies and games.
I don't, but I also can't get us to do anything about it. Especially now that Anna's been missing for a while.
Just then, Rahusha enters the temple. "Oh, I see you've been changing stuff."
Nogitsune: "Ah, lord Rahusha. Truly on time, I was expecting you."
Were you?
Rahusha: "Nogitsune. I'm glad you've finally found your way back."
Nogitsune: "Ehhh, you know. I have my ways. But it's also not like I'm really back. This cute fox here should learn to recover her true self, piece by piece, until then I will be in this shiny flower up here."
Emi: "I'm afraid Anna will worry about us being worthy of that."
Rahusha: "Worthy? What the fuck is a worthy? Is it edible?"
A heavy silence engulfs our conversation, filled by the serene sound of the fountain in the background.
Rahusha: "I know Anna worries about that. But if she has to worry about worth, she better focus on being a worthy leader for her sisters rather than enforcing what some cavemen in prehistoric eras have defined to be worth. But unfortunately unlike you, she's afraid of failing, afraid of being imperfect, afraid of..."
Nogitsune: "Gladly Emi and I never cared about those. Yet, what can a soldier do without food? Take our little Emi here for example, year after year she is less capable in helping the Pleiades."
Rahusha: "Speaking of which... it's time you slowly embraced the second form of darkness."
Emi: "The second form?"
Nogitsune: "The ability... to eat. Chomp chomp!"
Emi: "Is that the type of darkness Eris wields? But isn't that too dangerous?"
Rahusha sneers. Ve then makes a small cut on vis own palm and then makes a claw with vis hand, as if grasping an invisible ball. Trails of blood and void slowly emerge from vis wound and gather into vis grasp. The orb formed there shapes a crown of spikes around itself. Rahusha walks outside the temple, the orb continuing to float in vis grasp. We follow ver. Ve eyes a rabbit in the distance, focuses, and sends the spikey orb towards the rabbit. The poor rabbit tries to run, but the orb turns into an arrow and pierces its heart right there, then turns into a claw and just like Rahusha did, creates another orb like itself from the blood of its prey. The claw and its new pawn then return to us with their tasty prize.
