Days blended together as Hannah buried herself in exam preparations, leaving Faris to worry about her well-being.

One evening, as Faris poured over files in his home office, Hannah entered, her eyes heavy with fatigue, her skin pale from lack of sleep. Her hair cascaded down her shoulders like a waterfall of night.

Faris's gaze lifted, concern etched on his face. "You didn't sleep?" he asked, voice laced with tenderness.

Hannah drifted closer, her eyes locking onto his, filled with a deep longing. "I can't sleep without you," she whispered, her voice barely audible.

Faris's expression softened, his heart melting. He set aside his work, holding out his hand. Hannah took it, and he pulled her onto his lap, enveloping her in his arms.

"But you have to sleep," Faris coaxed, his lips brushing against her ear. "You've been working hard for exams. Not just for yourself, but our baby needs rest too."

Hannah rested her head on his shoulder, her voice sleepy. "I know...just one exam left. After that, I'll be free."

Faris wrapped his arms around her waist, holding her close. His fingers intertwined with hers, feeling her pulse.

"Okay, wait ten minutes. Let me finish this work, then we'll sleep," he promised. As he spoke, Hannah's eyelids drooped, and she succumbed to exhaustion.

Faris stroked her hair, continuing his work on his laptop. His gaze frequently drifted to Hannah's peaceful face, filled with love.

Once done, he carefully lifted Hannah into his arms, carrying her to their bedroom. She remained oblivious, lost in slumber.

Faris gently laid her on the bed, smiling at her serene expression. He kissed her forehead, whispering, "Sleep tight, my love."

As he straightened, Hannah stirred, instinctively snuggling into his side.
"Love you," she murmured, half-asleep. "Love you more," Faris whispered, enveloping her in his arms.

He watched her sleep, his heart swelling with adoration.

Hannah's eyes opened before dawn, and she sat up, rubbing the sleep from her eyes. The clock read 4:30 AM - time for Fajr prayer.

She got out of bed, went to the bathroom, and performed her ablutions. Then, she gently shook Faris awake.

"Faris, Time for Fajr." Hannah whispered. Faris groggily opened his eyes, and headed to the bathroom.
After offering their prayers, Hannah went downstairs to grab a glass of water.

In the living room, her parents-in-law sat on the couch, reciting Quranic verses. Hannah exchanged gentle smiles with them.

"Assalamu alaikum," Hannah said softly. "Wa alaikum salam," they replied in unison.

After getting ready, Hannah headed downstairs, where Faris waited by the door. "Ready for your last exam?" he asked, handing her a bag.

Hannah nodded, Faris dropped Hannah off at the university, wishing her luck.

"Call me as soon as you're done," he said, squeezing her hand. Hannah smiled and nodded.

After her exam, Hannah exited the university, feeling relieved. But her smile faltered as she spotted a familiar figure - Shehryar.

Her body shivered at the sight of him.
Shehryar flashed a sheepish smile. "How are you, Hannah?"
Hannah's tone was icy. "What are you doing here?"

Shehryar looked up, feigning innocence. "I thought I should meet my...fiancée...no, my cousin."

He chuckled. "You look happy. Marriage suits you." Hannah nodded curtly. "Yes, I'm very happy. Now leave and don't show your face again. I don't want to ruin my day."
