Faris gazed at Hannah, his eyes welling up with tears. "Wake up, Hannah. Look, everything is fine now. Shehryar has been convicted."

Hannah lay motionless, her beauty undiminished by the hospital equipment surrounding her.

Faris's body shook as he sobbed, his voice cracking. He held her hand, willing her to wake up.

Just then, Anisa entered the room. "Faris beta, Shehryar's mother wants to meet you."

Faris looked up, his face streaked with tears. He hesitated, unsure if he was ready to face her.

As he stepped out of the hospital room, Shehryar's mother awaited him in the corridor.

Shehryar's mother grasped Faris's hand, her eyes pleading.

"Beta, please forgive my son. He was blinded by hatred."

Faris's brow furrowed, incredulity etched on his face.

"Forgive him?" Faris repeated, his voice laced with anguish.

"How can I forgive him? He destroyed my family."

Faris's voice cracked.

"He's the murderer of my father. My child...my unborn child."

Tears streamed down Faris's face.

"Because of him, my wife lies in a coma."

Faris's gaze bore into Shehryar's mother.

"And you ask me to forgive him?"

Shehryar's mother wept, her body shaking.

"I know, beta. I'm so sorry."

Faris's expression remained resolute.

"Your son's actions have consequences,"

Faris gently withdrew his hand.

"And I won't forgive him. He will face what he had done."

"Please, beta...have mercy."

Faris's voice softened slightly.

"I'm sorry, Aunty. But mercy is for those who show remorse."

Faris turned to leave.

"Your son showed none."

Faris sat on the prayer mat, overcome with emotion. His body shook with sobs as he pleaded to God, "Please, Allah, bring Hannah back to me. Wake her up, heal her." His voice cracked under the weight of his despair.

Shaista's gentle touch on his shoulder interrupted his prayer.

"Faris, she's awake. She's calling for you," Shaista whispered softly.

Faris's face transformed from anguish to hope. He rose swiftly and rushed to Hannah's room.

Inside, Hannah lay motionless on the bed, her gaze fixed blankly on the wall.

Everyone rose from their seats and filed out of the room, closing the door behind them to grant the couple privacy.

As the room emptied, Faris approached Hannah's bedside. He gently grasped her hand, his eyes locked onto hers.

"Hannah," he whispered, his voice trembling.

Hannah's gaze shifted to Faris, and tears began to fall. Her face contorted in anguish.

"My child, Faris...my baby," Hannah whispered, her voice cracking.

She burst into uncontrollable sobs, her body shaking.
