On cue, the boys took off their hoodies to unveil themselves as my mom and dad stood there in shocked, but surprisingly my mom knew who they were.

Rebecca: You boys are the Turtles Baron Draxum had in his lab, the four that had Lou Jitsu's dna
Donnie: Hold up, you know about us?
Vanessa: Mom!! You're a mutant!? But.. But then that means, that what he said about you working for him is true?!
Rebecca: [Sigh] Yes, Nessa, I did. I once worked for him, but that was long overdue when I tried to free Lou Jitsu from the experiment, only to face the consequences of my actions and be injected with the ooze and become an arctic fox mutant. I'm sorry for keeping this secret for you but it was very overwhelming that I didn't know how to tell you. I'm truly sorry
Vanessa: And, dad knew about this?
Dameon: I did, it took me a while to understand the situation, but that never bothered me at all, what mattered was that she needed someone to care and love her for who she is now
Vanessa: I'm completely lost, you are a mutant, and somehow I was suppose to be a mutant too?
Rebecca: No, the results came out negative, you didn't had any mutation DNA at all when you were born
Donnie: Hmm, so maybe the Oozesquitoes was the boost it needed to her mutantion to kick in, could that have been a possibility?
Rebecca: I could try researching it but without the oozesquitoes I can't conduct a scientific experiment
Donnie: [smiles] I think that can be arraigned
Donnie presented my mother a small jar that had an oozesquitoe inside, as my mother stared in awe. We then left the house to head to some kind of warehouse in the docks, as my mother turned on the lights and unveiled her workspace while the boys started in awe but mainly Donnie cause of all the equipment and lab work.
Donnie: Omigosh, please tell me you have some uranium
Rebecca: I wish, but it's not easy to get. I've been itching to get some uranium to test out
Donnie: You madam are a prodigy, I applaud you, by the way my name is Donatello. Donnie for short
Rebecca: [giggles] Thank you, Donnie. Now, with this oozesquitoe, I can be able to analyze it and also check my daughter's dna. Sweetie, this is gonna be a small sting but I need to analyze your blood [hold out a syringe]
Vanessa: Ugh, needles, I hate needles
Leo: Want me to hold your hand?
Vanessa: Yes, please~
Leo came by next to me as I held his hand and my mom injected the syringe into my arm, she drew a bit of blood and put a bandage on my arm. My mom and Donnie got to work and started analyzing my blood, when the results were being printed and Donnie looked through the papers and nodded.
Donnie: This confirms it, Nessie, you were human before but because your mutated dna wasn't there the oozesquitoe was the boost it needed to get your mutated form to appear
Vanessa: So even if I didn't had the mutated DNA it still Draxum's fault that I became this
Rebecca: Not just you, but to many others too
Raph: You mean Meat Sweats, Repo Mantis, Sando Brothers
Mikey: Todd, Hypno, and that News guy too?
Rebecca: You mean Warren... And, yes. They all fell victim to the Oozesquitoe, along with many others too. I've been working on an antidote to revert them back but for some reason it's always been no results. So in a way, I considered calling them Yokai instead of mutants
Leo: Wait, Yokai
Rebecca: Yokai are basically beings that resemble anthropomorphic animals that vary in a prance from recognizable real-life species. Apparently they can be sapient or non-sapient
Donnie: Elaborate on the fact, please so my brothers can understand, I mean me and Nessie fully understand what you're saying but they're pretty dull about it
Leo/Mikey/Raph: [glares] HEY!!
Rebecca: [chuckles] Alright. See, Sapient Yōkai commonly possess an erect posture, though not always. They're basically like able to speak, move like a human, and even pose as one. However, non-sapient Yōkai can't speak and are seemingly used by sapient Yōkai as humans use non-human animals, so basically like food, transport, etc
Leo: Okay, so Sapient Yōkai can act more human while non-sapient Yōkai are more like animals
Rebecca: Exactly, not only that but Yokai possess a longer lifespan and age at a decelerated rate
Leo: Huh, guess that's where Nessa got her beauty from
