Carlos looks at me from across the table but i avoid looking over at him "are you serious" Jay asked "Yes, he just called me up out of the blue and ask me if i wanted to hang out some time, he heard i was back in town, what does it matter anyways" i say harshly " Well considering what he did and who he still runs around with I'd say it does matter" Marco pauses before continuing "Look i wasn't there that night to pick you up Lexi but from what Alessandro told me it was bad you could have gotten killed, you do know that right and he just left you without a care in the world, plus that not someone we want you to hang out with anymore i though you learned that from last time" 

I can remember that night like it was just yesterday, i remember my heart dropping when the lost control over the car before the crash, Josh and Kit those were the people who died that night they used to run around with me and Nick back then... i tried to talk to Nick the next day after i got home but he ignored my phone call. Sometimes i used to dream that it was me in that car that night. People who knew them well put up a memorial up for them. I went there one time to put some flowers up for them, they didn't deserve what happened to them. 

"You're not going" my dad says breaking me out of my thoughts "I'm an adult now day, you can't forbid me from see him, plus i need to ask him something we haven't see in each other in like 4 years"  i say before getting up and walking back into the house. I go upstairs and head into my library, nobody is allowed in here i don't trust anyone with my book I put a lock on the door. I spend the rest of my day in the library before going into my room and heading to bed, Emma and Noah are already laying down Mia probably with Alessandro.

I wake up to the sun beaming in my face and see that Noah and Emma are already awake and downstairs. I get up and head to the bathroom to shower and do my entire routine. Once i get out of the shower i walk to my closet and get my outfit ready, i throw on a white strapless corset and some jeans. I do my makeup and then throw my hair up in a messy bun before putting on my Jewlery. I grab my phone off the charger and my purse and then head downstairs. 

I walk into the living room to see that everyone is downstairs... Did i sleep in.... Nope it's 9. "Damn, your looking hot." Mia says i smile "Thank you i was just coming in here to tell you I'm leaving and going to stop by a store before i come home if you guys need anything to text me" i say. "Hey how about you come home and then me, Mia, and Emma will just go to the store with you" Noah suggests "Sure i see you later, love you guys" I say "Love you" i hear Mia and Emma shout as i walk out the front door.

I get into my car and start driving to the Coffee shop, i send a text to Nick telling me I'm on the way. I make it too the coffee shop and find us a table and order me a large caramel iced coffee. I wait about 15 minutes before Nick arrives, i wave to get his attention

"Hello Lexi, you look amazing... how have you been" Nick say before sitting down 

"Hi Nick, thank you... i've been good. What about you how have you been" I reply 

"I've been doing good, I'm mean i graduated for college already, I've been wondering how college been going for you" Nick asks 

"Umm, it been good, i get my bachelor's degree this spring and then 4 years in medical school and then another 5 or 7 years of residency, so about 9 to 12 more years before i become an attending" i tell him 

" Gosh so you'll be around 30 when you finish everything" Nick say 

"Yep, but I'm ready for it i only have so many more years left" i say leaning back in my chair 

" Damn, and what specialty are you becoming again" 

"I am going to become a trauma surgeon" i answer his question "What are you doing"
