Chapter 5 : Apologies

"He really thinks the prince himself will apologize to him? Never, he is just a commoner whom I saved. He should be thankful to me " Taehyun mumbled going to the library in the palace

Taehyun looked for some books and saw Beomgyu coming in making him smirk " I knew he would come to apologize to me " Taehyun's smirk widened as Beomgyu came towards him

Taehyun stood there ready to forgive Beomgyu when he walked past him as if he was a ghost. Beomgyu looked for a book making Taehyun clench his jaw  "What does he think of himself? " Taehyun mumbled underneath his breathe

" Don't touch any book, it's for the royals " Taehyun said coldly while clenching his jaw " I took the permission from the queen you are no one to stop " Beomgyu said and looked for the books making Taehyun's anger fuel up

Taehyun pinned him against the shelf making him whimper " Leave me your highness " Beomgyu said " Keep that attitude to yourself, behave yourself or see the consequences " Taehyun grip on him got tighten on him

" Leave me your highness. It's hurting " Beomgyu said " Don't protest " Taehyun commanded gripping his wrist tighter . " What do you think of yourself? " Taehyun asked and Beomgyu didn't answer

" Answer me " Taehyun shouted making the other male flinch , Taehyun held his cheeks " You are just a mere commoner whom I saved. Don't think of yourself superior than me " Taehyun warned and Beomgyu looked down

" Look at me " Taehyun said and Beomgyu shook his head " Look. At. Me" Taehyun said while clenching his jaw trying to control his anger at Beomgyu's disobedience " I am saying it for the last time look at me " He gritted his teeth

" Look at me I said " Taehyun shouted and saw Beomgyu flinching badly and sobbing he instantly left his wrist as he saw the other male trembling . He looked at Beomgyu with his eyes that were filled with concern  "Beomgyu-" Beomgyu pushed him making Taehyun's back hit the other shelf and the books fell on him. Beomgyu ran out of the library

Taehyun groaned loudly " That annoying human " Taehyun mumbled looking at Beomgyu. He clenched his jaw and told the servants to keep the book on the shelf again

Taehyun sat in the library reading a book although his mind could only think of Beomgyu's tear streaked face making him feel a pang of something that he couldn't figure out, maybe it was just sympathy

Taehyun roamed around the library when his eyes fell on a certain someone in the palace garden. He saw his annoying fiance sitting on the bench while hugging his knees as if he was crying.

Taehyun rolled his eyes thinking Beomgyu was just being dramatic as always. Taehyun looked at the sky which was covered with black clouds indicating it was gonna rain . Taehyun leaned against the window frame and looked at Beomgyu who kept sitting there

Taehyun annoyingly closed the window and went to read his book . He walked around the library while reading the book although his mind was occupied with Beomgyu.

After sometime, he heard the lightning sound that made him remember how scared Beomgyu felt of it " He must have gone inside right? " Taehyun mumbled while looking " Yeah, he might with Hwa Young " Taehyun nodded when another thunder struck making his heart skip a beat

"He is fine right? " Taehyun mumbled feeling worried " Wait, why the hell do I care?? I am not his mother and he is not a child. He should take care of himself " Taehyun continued reading but he couldn't shake off that worried feeling

He heard the rain getting heavier and the sound of thunder got louder " It won't hurt to just take a look right? " Taehyun thought and went to the window from where he could see the garden
