"felix..."

"soo you found out..?" the freckled male smiled warmly at minho as he slowly backed away from him. jisung was somewhere in the back— probably laughing.

"why didn't you tell me?" he whined like a baby, "and here i thought i met another hottie."

"HEY! am i not hot enough for you?"

"i mean..." jisung looked so offended and his jaw was literally on the floor, "that's mean." he put a hand over his chest dramatically.

"you're meaner for not telling me you were coming. i'm still in the middle of freaking out." minho frowned and rolled his eyes, but inside he was still screaming like a teenage girl who got seen by her crush.

"i thought felix told you..."

"hey! don't look at me! i know you like surprises so i kept a little secret. you need to thank me for taking your likes into consideration and account." he pouted and hit minho's shoulder lightly, making the other whine in pain.

the sun was slowly rising and the cafe had golden yellow streaks of sunlight passing through its windows. soon the cafe would be filled with people, other employees would also be coming in soon to start their shifts. the cafe belonged to a friend of felix's, her name was iva, if minho remembered correctly.

honestly speaking, she was extremely beautiful. but minho would die to say that in front of her— that woman's ego was higher than his pay (which was $3500 a month, including a bit of extra credit money). yeah, she's rich.

her skin was tanned a light shade of brown, eyes the shape of a siren's while her hair was healthier than minho's lifestyle. it was silk black with a bit of ash blue at the ends of her hair, which complimented her mint green irises perfectly. her jawline was sharp but soft at the same time and she wore golden framed glasses that gave an expensive look. her sense of fashion was amazing as well— maybe better than hyunjin's.

if she didn't own a cafe, minho would believe she'd worked as a designer— fashion and interior, either one (or both).

sometimes she'd wear something simple like a loose shirt and jeans but still make it look good and fashionable. sometimes she'd go for a more fancy look— a long coat with high waisted dark grey silk pants with a sleeveless white top. maybe some belts or accessories here and there too.

the cafe was designed by iva as well. it was beautiful and had a dreamy atmosphere. the lights looked amazing at night, which is why it might be more busy then. however, in the morning, the sunlight would cast into the cafe and create pretty lighting in the space, making it look magical.

speaking of the devil, iva walked in a few minutes later.

"wassup gang, how's the preparation going? oh, hi there early customer! why is there someone here so early?" iva greeted jisung with a smile before turning to the other two with a confused expression. the rapper almost laughed at the moment but refrained from doing so in order not to make it awkward. "well, he's here to see a certain someone~" felix nudged minho's shoulder and he burst into a bright red colour.

iva teased minho as she laughed when the male tried to punch her playfully. "woah, okay buddy, finally got a boyfriend? have you finally moved on from your delulu fantasies?" jisung snorted and felix followed along, wanting to burst out in laughter. oh, the irony. poor minho, though. he was sure that he was going to pass away from high blood pressure soon.

boyfriend? he wished. delulu fantasies? no they're still there. jisung laughing? he wanted to hear more of the sound.

"actually... his delusional fantasies did come true!" felix exclaimed and giggled happily, making iva gasp loudly. "oh! so you're the one that this rascal keeps yapping about! do you know how much he wants you to rail—"

minho wrapped his arm around the freaky female and held her mouth closed, blocking whatever that wanted to come out.

"shut up, sorry, uh, jisung..? why does saying your same feel so weird. omg i know your name now." jisung chuckled at minho's small freak out session and smiled sweetly at him, "well you better get used to it then~"

"MMMMMH!!!" iva screamed for minho to let go of her. she bit onto his palm so suddenly that minho let out a sharp shriek that echoed throughout the cafe. he practically threw her on the floor and she huffed in annoyance. "minho, i'm still the one paying you! i decide if you can continue working here, you know?"

"please, you wouldn't fire me even if you had to."

"i agree, he's too precious to US. please take 'us' into consideration because if you're firing him, i'm going with him!"

"awh i'm so touched by your— AHHHHH THE MADWOMAN BIT ME AGAIN!"

iva shot daggers at minho and huffed in annoyance, before changing her mood like it was her hobby, smiling at jisung which sent shivers down minho's spine. why did it look so creepy?

"sooooo, you like him back?" iva so suddenly asked which made minho freeze with a confused frown on his face. felix held back a laugh and bit down on his lips, watching as jisung fumbled with his hands.

"uh— well..."

just then the bell of the cafe door rang and a new customer came in. all of them immediately separated and felix sprang to the barista area, passing jisung his coffee. "here you go! have a nice day sir!"

minho let out a breath he didn't know he was holding.

"is he actually your boyfriend?"

"iva. shut up."
