Wooyoung pov
"Hi! San" I answered when he called
"Hi Wooyoung 😊 So, how've you been?
"Alright, been sleeping most of the day. You?"
"It's good. We're going to Europe in about a month so I'm exited about that but it's tiring. We've been training a lot. Barely have time for anything else"
"Yeah I read about that. I listened to the new song, It's good"
"Thanks, glad you liked it"
I laid down on my bed my heart was beating a little faster.
"Yea, I like everything you do. I mean that Ateez do"
"Is that so"
I blushed and I could hear him smirk at my answer
"I would really like to get to know you more Wooyoung. To meet you again"
I loved how he said my name
"Me to San"
"So let's get started. 20 questions"
I laughed at the idea but started thinking about questions
"Favorite food?"
"Meat, yours?
"Yea same, Steak"
"Favorite color?"
"Purple, yours?"
"Black. What's your hobbies?"
"I like reading and playing games. I like sports but don't do it as much now. Yours?"
"I like playing games. Hanging out with my friends. I like clothes and shoes , I buy way too much!"
"Maybe we can go shopping together sometime"
"Yea that would be fun! Do you have any pets?"
"A cat named Byeol. You?"
"Oh cute. And no, I always wanted one when I was younger but my mom said no.
What's your favorite way to spend a day off?"
"Sleep 😴"
"Same, and hang out with my friends.
What makes you happy?"
"To be on stage. He paused like he was hesitating before asking the next question
"Do you believe in love at first sight?"
"I've never been in love but I guess if I see the right person"
"I do. Believe in it" He said
"Oh, well I guess it's possible"
"Do you have anyone you like?"
Well this conversation took quite a turn. I didn't know what to answer so I just stayed quiet.
I knew I liked San, or I think I did. He was all I ever thought about since the day of the meet&greet. And after the concert it had only gotten worse.
"I do"
"O-Oh, that's great"
I didn't like that. At all.
If San had someone he liked then I must have misinterpreted everything
"Wooyoung, let's be friends. Like real friends"

"Yea ok. Let's be friends"
I wondered if he could hear the disappointment in my voice. I felt sad cause if San had someone he liked I had no chance.
But why had he held my hand and hugged me. My thoughts were all over the place.

Sans pov
I couldn't stop thinking about him.
Every time I heard I got a message on my phone and saw it was him I jumped from my seat and left the room so I could message him in private.
My band members had started to notice my odd behavior but no one had said anything. Yet.
"Hyung" I knocked on the door to Hongjoongs studio and peeked in.
"San". He looked tired, he always spent too much time in the studio.
"Can I come in?"
"Of course, come sit down" I sat down on the couch
"Did you need anything? he asked
"Well" he looked at me and I got nervous.
"Can I ask you something?" he could probably see that I got something on my mind.
"Yea of course. I kinda expected you to come. You've been behaving a little strange lately"
I looked at him and smiled "I expected you to notice"
He smiled and turned towards me all the way.
"So what can I help you with?"
"Have you ever been in love?"
"Oh! I didn't expect that"
"Yea well I met someone and I think I'm falling in love" he looked at me waiting for me to continue
"Is it possible for us to fall in love? Or you know be in a relationship"
"Of course it is" he quickly answered. "I've had crushes but no, I've never been in love"
I looked at him, I didn't know how much I wanted to tell him
"It's that guy from the meet and greet right? The same guy that was at the cafe?"
My eyes widened "How?"
"Well I saw you looking at him at the meet & greet and when we saw him at the cafe you got all nervous and then you went after him when he left. You both looked flustered when you came back and he couldn't keep his eyes off of you. So I just guessed"
"Oh!"
"So am I right?"
"Yes. We've been talking a lot and I actually met him the other day"
"So that's why you came back so early in the morning" "You noticed", I knew he would.
"Yes I never sleep you know" he laughed and I gave him an irritating look
"You should sleep more"
"I know"
"So is it weird that I like him?"
"Why would it be weird?" He looked at me questioningly
"Because he's a guy" I suddenly got nervous but then he put a hand on my shoulder
"San, you can't control who you like"
I let out a sigh
"San"
"Yea?"
"I'm happy you found someone you like"
"Thanks Hyung"
"No problem"
"When I fall in love I'm gonna come to you for advice" he smiled at me and I felt a stone lifting from my chest.
After my talk with Hongjoong I called Wooyoung.
"San"
"Hi Woo"
"Didn't you have practice today?"
"We finished early and I just wanted to hear your voice"
It became quiet on the other end and my heart was racing
"Thanks for calling. I've missed talking too you"
"Really?"
"Yes. I've been thinking about you a lot lately"
"I've been thinking about you too. Woo"
Silence
"I actually like you. A lot I think.
I could hear him breathing but he didn't say anything
"Wooyoung? You're making me nervous"
"San. I think I like you too. A lot"
I let out a sigh and heard him giggle.
"You're killing me Woo"
"Sorry" he laughed and I felt so relieved.
"So what are you doing?"
"I just got home. Me and Minho went out to play some pool"
"That's nice. It's been a long time since I did something like that"
"Then let's go out and have some fun"
