The beautiful giant gate of the hotel, hung open as the men suited in their uniforms pulled the gate from either side as Ethan drove inside the hotel's entrance area.

The beautiful walls around were shaped with royal architecture, water fountains around reflected the evening lights heavenly all over the place.

The sun was almost set, moonlight peaking through the empty sky.

Ethan took a deep sigh, as he stopped the car just before the entrance, as he looked sharply at Amelia, but she was lost, in her own thoughts, even after a while she was still stuck on Ethan's last statement, how will she act as if she loves him? She has never learned to act like that, probably because she never needed to.

Two men in their properly ironed black suits opened the door for both Amelia and Ethan. Ethan greeted the staff as he got out of the car, but Amelia was still inside, totally zoned out.

A man was standing by her door offering his hand to her, but she didn't move, she got pulled off from her thoughts, as she heard her name "Amelia" Ethan said calmly, frowning his brow.

She looked around as if she just woke up from her sleep, and quickly got out of the car smiling gracefully at the staff.

Ethan gave his keys to one of them to park the car while the other handled their luggage.

Amelia stood beside Ethan, taking in the building in front of her, it's exactly like the one she used to imagine before going to sleep. As beautiful as she reads in books.

But instead of any appreciative words, she uttered, "How many days?" She would have enjoyed the view better some other day, but not today when she is here with Ethan.

"For someone who has come here for the very first time, don't you think it's a very odd question to ask?"Ethan taunted, he could see Amelia's hesitation clearly, and he was enjoying it.

"For someone who has come here with you, it's the only sane thing to ask." She replied, still not looking at him, maintaining the sass in her voice.

"As if I am yearning to live a whole year with you" He muttered in a whisper, but Amelia heard it and looked at him sharply, narrowing her eyes.

"Says the one who desperately wanted me here" she taunted again, in her defense, talking just made her feel less out of place, she liked the idea of bickering more than going inside in this strange place.

"Desperately? You agreed to the deal!" He shot back looking straight in her eyes , with an 'I am so done' expression.

"Exactly, you wanted me, and I wanted Gia, there's a difference!" She said, crossing her arms , Ethan smiled sarcastically at her, almost in disbelief.

"I wanted you? I wasn't the one crying like a baby at least" He said as if he got the victory, Amelia looked at him angrily, her cheeks almost flushing red, "You were the one to pull me closer!" She said , in a pretty louder voice.
