Thank you so much:)

Sylus leaned back against the polished bar, the rich amber liquid of his Macallan 18 Year Old Scotch swirling in the glass as he took a contemplative sip.

The warmth of the alcohol spread through him, its complexity reflecting the myriad thoughts running through his mind.

The ambiance around him was a perfect blend of sophistication and intimacy, the dimly lit space cradled in the embrace of natural rock and soft, ambient lighting that cast golden hues across the room.

The shelves behind him glimmered with an impressive array of spirits, each bottle a silent testament to the exclusivity he had come to expect in life.

Yet, despite the opulence, his eyes were focused elsewhere—toward the entrance, waiting for someone who had yet to arrive.

His fingers traced the rim of the glass, a habitual gesture that signified both impatience and curiosity.

The lounge area to the side, with its plush sofas and quiet corners, beckoned for a more personal conversation.

With the muted sounds of clinking glasses and hushed laughter around him, Sylus took another sip, his gaze unwavering, a predator patiently watching for his prey.

"Hey, Sylus," a familiar voice pulled Sylus from his thoughts.

He turned to see Zayne, His friend, approaching, a hint of exhaustion etched on his face. "Sorry for keeping you waiting. I had a few last-minute patients."

"Zayne," Sylus replied, a slight sigh escaping his lips as his friend settled into the chair beside him. "You’d think with all that time in America, you’d be too busy for a catch-up session with a friend like me."

Zayne chuckled, running a hand through his hair. "You know how it is—once a doctor, always a doctor. But I wouldn't miss this for the world, especially after wrapping up my internship. I need to celebrate being back home."

Sylus raised his glass slightly, a smirk playing on his lips. "Well, then, let's make this worth your while."

"So, what's been happening in your life? Anything interesting while I was away?" Zayne asked, perusing the drink menu.

Sylus smirked, a glint of mischief in his eyes. "Not much to report, really," he replied, taking another sip of his drink. "But I have a feeling something intriguing is on the horizon."

He leaned back, a playful challenge in his tone. "Let’s just say, the calm before the storm has its own kind of excitement."

"What, are those guys trying to pull a stunt again?" Zayne asked, his brow furrowing slightly.

He knew all too well that Sylus was a force to be reckoned with—intimidating and not easily rattled.

"No, it’s not those idiots this time," Sylus replied, an evil grin spreading across his face.

"Now you’ve got me intrigued. Who would dare to mess with your life?" Zayne leaned in, curiosity evident in his eyes.

Sylus smirked, the thought of Regina sparking mischief in his mind. "Well, there’s... a little bunny."
