Sylus leaned casually against the table, a stack of papers in his hand.

The towering city skyline stretched beyond the floor-to-ceiling window behind him, the sharp lines of skyscrapers glinting in the distance as he glanced over the documents.

He wore a tailored black jacket that hugged his frame, sharp lapels and a single button closure adding to its sleek design.

His shirt was unbuttoned just enough to reveal a glimpse of his chest and layered silver chain necklaces that caught the light subtly.

His matching pants, part of the same suit, were tailored to a slim, straight fit, accentuating his polished look. A simple belt with a subtle buckle completed the ensemble.

His brows furrowed slightly, eyes squinting as he scanned the papers. His jaw tightened in focus, the faint tension in his face showing the depth of his concentration.

A sudden knock at the door pulled Sylus from his focus. He tilted his head toward the sound and called, "Come in."

One of his staff entered, walking briskly with a folder in hand. Sylus set the papers he had been reviewing down on the table.

"Sir, this needs your signature today," the man said, offering the folder.

Sylus took it, his eyes quickly scanning through the contents.

After a moment, he moved to his large leather office chair, a sleek, imposing seat with high backrests and deep cushions, exuding power and authority.

Settling in, he carefully read over the document before signing it with a swift stroke.

The man bowed respectfully before collecting the signed papers and leaving the room.

Sylus leaned back in his chair, his fingers resting thoughtfully against his lips, eyes distant as he sank into deep contemplation.

His posture was relaxed, but there was a sharpness in his gaze, like he was calculating his next move.

After a moment, a mischievous smile crept across his face.

He reached for his phone, his expression shifting—his eyes narrowed, amusement darkening his features, and the corner of his lips curled with a mix of playful malice.

"Hello," he spoke into the phone, his voice low and laced with intrigue, his gaze glinting with a dangerous edge.

Regina strolled along the winding pathway, bordered by lush greenery that swayed gently in the evening breeze.

The soft glow of streetlights began to illuminate her surroundings as the sun dipped below the horizon, casting vibrant hues of pink and orange across the sky.

The air was tinged with the fresh scent of grass and blooming flowers, creating a serene atmosphere that momentarily lifted the weight of her worries.

As she walked, the rhythmic crunch of gravel beneath her feet added to the tranquil ambiance.

Suddenly, the peace was interrupted by the shrill ring of her phone, echoing through the quiet evening.

Startled, Regina paused, her heart quickening as she fished her phone out of her pocket, bracing herself for the unexpected call.

She let out a heavy sigh as she glanced at her phone screen, seeing the name of the mafia boss who had tasked her with stealing the document.

Annoyance flickered across her face as she reluctantly answered the call.
