Matthew woke up to soft breathing beside him. He opened his eyes and turned, seeing Gil asleep, also leaning against him. He blushed and continued to sit there, waiting for Gil to wake up. When Gil stirred, Matthew looked up to see Gil's red eyes look into his purple. The two separated quickly before realizing someone had placed a blanket over them. "Did you put this here?". Matthew asked. "Nein-i mean, no." The two boys were blushing as they stood, brushing off their clothes. "We should probably get back to our own houses... Your parents will be worried." Gil instructed. Matthew nodded and lead the way back to the park before they parted ways and went to their respective houses. Matthew walked through the door and got tackled the minute he got in. "DUDE WHERE WERE YOU I THOUGHT YOU HAD BEEN KIDNAPPED OR SOMETHING!" Alfred was yelling, tears running down his face. "Al, I was just hanging out with my friend and fell asleep at the park." Matthew explained. "Oh." "Alfred! Pull three plates from the cabinet please!" The boys' mom called. "But what about Matthew?" Alfred asked. "Who?" She asked. She peeked in. "Oh, who's your friend?"

Matthew let a tear roll down his face before running up to his bedroom. Alfred was staring at Mrs.Jones. "Dude, that's just cruel." Mrs.Jones raised an eyebrow. "Why is your friend running through our house?" Alfred rolled his eyes and glared at his mother. "This has gone way too far. At first it just surprised you when he spoke to you, now you can't remember who he is?" Mrs. Jones was getting really confused now. "HE IS YOUR SON GODDAMNIT!" Alfred ran up to Matthew's room. "Mattie, let me in?" he asked softly. The door creaked open to show a teary-eyed Matthew. Alfred hugged his brother tightly. "Hey, little bro, I've been saving up money, I think if I got a job we could get our own apartment!" Alfred grinned. Matthew looked up, surprised. "Really?" Alfred nodded. "Just wait until I get a job and we can leave this house."

Matthew smiled. When Alfred left the room, he picked up his phone and texted Gil.

Hey, wanna go get some ice cream later?

Buzz.

Matthew sent a short agreement and put down his phone. He smiled and laid down on his bed, next to his pet polar bear. "Hey Kuma-whatever-your-name-is? I think tomorrow might go well."

Gil was excited that he would get to hang out with Matthew again, but he didn't know why. He had been hanging with his frenemie Elizaveta, a girl he had known for years. "Well someone just got happier!" The girl teased, giggling. Gil blushed. "It's nothing..." He replied shyly. Elizaveta reached over and snatched the phone from Gil's hand, easily guessing the password, 'Gilbird', and looking at Gil's texts. "Gilbert, who's this 'invisible cutie'?". She asked the blushing albino. "N-no one... He's just a f-friend..." Gilbert replied, looking away awkwardly. The brunette girl smiled. "Do you have a crush on this person?" She asked. Gilbert's blush grew, extending to his neck. "N-nein, of course not!" He mumbled, speaking German, which he only did when he was embarrassed, nervous, or extremely aroused. Elizaveta smiled. "You do! I can tell!" She handed Gilbert's phone back to him. "D-don't tell anyone please..." He whispered. She nodded. "Your secret's safe with me."
