Elian led the group, comprising Sylvan, Theo and all the other fairies that were part of the mission on earth. The air shimmered with an ethereal glow as a sign of the crystal caves is near.
Theo's eyes remained fixed on the path ahead, his thoughts consumed by Violetta.
Suddenly, the cave opened into a majestic chamber. Green and Violetta stood there, their beauty mesmerizing.
"Welcome, Elian," Green said, her voice melodic. "We've expected you." It was hard for Green to even look at them. The guilt feeling started to emerge in her again.
Violetta's gaze met Theo's, her expression unreadable.
Sylvan stepped forward. "We need answers. About everything."
"I have so much to explain, but first, I owe you an apology," Violetta said, her voice barely above a whisper. "I pretended to be an ordinary girl who fell for you at first sight, when in truth, I knew exactly who you were."
Theo's eyes searched hers, seeking answers. "Why?" he asked, his voice laced with hurt.
"We needed to break the curse" Green said.

"Queen Lumina's unexpected request shook me," Violet began, recalling the flashback. "She demanded I marry Jasper, her younger son, once he ascended to the throne. But Jasper was more than just a royal obligation to me – he was a dear friend. I told him that my heart belonged to someone else, and I couldn't possibly accept the arrangement." Violet's voice softened. "Despite being hurt he accepted it as a good friend" Violet added.
Flashback
Violet's Pov.
I went to our usual place as Jasper asked to meet me. "I told everything to mother. They won't proceed the proposal" Jasper said in a soft voice. I slowly nodded. I understood that he is hurt at the moment he looked me. His mind is like an open book to me. As an Arcana fairy I always easily understood what the opposite party thinks or feels. And it always helped me to maintain the situation. But right I don't even know how to respond to Jasper. If he finds out who my lover is he is going to get hurt more. So I decided not to reveal.

Few days later,
It was the day king (Jasper's grandfather) announces the choosen group of fairies to visit the earth for the once in a century mission. Everyone was assembled outside the palace. Eagerly waiting for the announcement.
The king proceeded to announce. The group will lead by Princess Lumina. Then he announced the names of other fairies.
"Lastly, Lysandra Greenstone and Violetta Lunaria" he concluded the announcement.
The crowd erupted into cheers and applause. But my mind was elsewhere. Why is out of all people!

The day before the journey,
I met with my lover to say goodbye. But I never thought that it would be the last time we are going to embrace eachother!

Everyone from the royal family and all the choosen fairies were assembled at the crystal caves. I turned around and looked at the person whom I love one more time before I get inside the portal. He looked bold but he wasn't bold at all. I felt the stinky pain that he was experiencing, just by looking at him.
The familiar sensation of the crystal caves' energy enveloped me as the world around me started to dissolve.
When I opened my eyes, we were in a lush, vibrant forest!
