34. wolf brothers

Violet's Pov.

Lumina led us to the abandoned castle in the heart of the forest. No signs of life anywhere. "Doesn't the forest have a guardian?" Rowan asked, his voice laced with concern. Lumina's faint reply sent a shiver down his spine: "It has one."

We decided to search for the elusive fairy guardian. Green and I donned special eye covers to conceal our pupil colors, ensuring our identities remained hidden.

After hours of searching, we stumbled upon a suspicious hideout. The air reeked of blood, and Green's instincts screamed warning. "We should leave," she whispered.

Too late. Werewolves surrounded us!
They turned to their human form. Even though we were covering our eyes to cover our pupils colours, the specially made eye cover let us see everything. "He is handsome" Green mumbled.

One of them broke the silence, "I think we have some guests.'"

A second werewolf chimed in, his tone laced with skepticism, "Are you two really blind?"

I offered a calming smile and explained, "We don't mean to intrude. We were searching for something and clearly took a wrong turn. Sorry for the trouble."

With a subtle nod, I signaled Green to leave.

But a deep, bold voice commanded our attention.

"Fairies, aren't you?" he asked, his words dripping with curiosity.

"Stop thinking about eating us Bang Chan. I can assure you that we won't taste good" I said as I read one of their minds.

Everyone panicked except green. "How did you know my name? How did you know I was thinking about eating you??" Bang chan stuttered.

"She can read mind" Green responded.

"How can you read our mind if you are blind?" He asked another question.

"We are not blind."

As I sensed no harm from them, I slowly took off the blind fold followed by green.

"Wow" they got mesmerized by beauty infront of them. Expect that one wolf who has the bold voice.

"I'm Violetta Lunaria" "I'm Lysandra Greenstone and we are sisters" we introduced.

They also introduced themselves and they were brothers too. "Woah, you both look really identical except the color of your pupils" Hyunjin remarked.

"So what were you searching for?" Felix the handsome bold vocal asked.

"The guardian fairy of this forest" Green responded.

"Oh that fairy who was living in the abandoned castle! She died" Changbin, one of the world brothers said.

"Fairies won't die" I remarked.

"You can't call it a normal death, the witches who are residing in the mountain had a conflict with her and they burned her to ashes using witchcraft" Hyunjin explained.

"Thankyou for the information" as I said that we both were our blindfold back. With respectfull bows we turned to leave.

"Don't come back into our territory. We won't let it go next time" Felix warned.

At night,

Everyone gathered in the hall to share the information that they collected. Green told me not to mention that they visited the werewolves hideout. So I just said we got the information from a random wolf that we encountered midway.

"I think we should do something about those witches" Ruby said which everyone agreed.

We looked at Lumina for a conformation since she is the head of the mission. "Our mission is our first priority. Let's not do anything for now" she suggested.

Few days passed and everything was going very well. Until one day when Lumina had an argument with Green.

"Do you think I will let you live peacefully after hurting my son's feelings"

She mistook Green for me!
