The Farmwife is always ready to bake, happy is a good wife ready to do household chores in her Amish marriage.
Lana Yoder married to Joseph Yoder, dearly beloved the first time I saw you I was in love, yes its true you're my life and on the other hand wearing a golden band means I belong to you alone. Lana a gold band to match her husband's hand.
The Mennonite Amish from their village are allowed to wear wedding rings. And dressed modestly to be humble to our lord. They married two years earlier, and she expecting their first bubbly ( Baby) in June sometime.
Today Lana and her Schwesters ( Sister), live with them she and her husband Arlo Brady married Diane. Together they have three young sons Vinnie, John, and Gerald, 3, 4, and 5 years in age. Diane is a very good mater to her boys. Arlo is a godsend to them all caring and lovingly.
Together both couples bought this farm share farming. They planned on staying here for a long time, a daude house built next to this big farmhouse. And Grandma and Grandpa Yoder live there retired from this farm.
Mater and Fater Yoder, live yet in another big old farmhouse a block up from in the same yard. Right at this time a raging ice storm blew ice daggers all around. Our men stayed down in the barn in the bunkhouse. Safe yet sound taking care of our Cattle.
A strong wind could be heard whipping around the corner of the house. We shivered just at the thought of being cold outside. Lana prepared to bake from Grandma's cookbook. Diane hustled and bustled about to retrieve ingredients to make.
Recipe: Easy White Bread
1 cup Damon Greek Yogurt
1 cup self-rising white flour
In a mixing bowl, blend together using a wooden spoon. I prefer to use a large spooned one-round to stir, by Frontier Women

Divide the dough into four sections, make it into a loaf, and drop it into a greased and floured pan. Four small loaf pans, bake at 350 degrees till the top splits open. Remove from oven and let rest on countertop till cool.
After cooled gently flip out of pans, let stand free, and wrap in a small bread-wrapped twist tie ends for freshness. Freeze, until use is delicious and easy. Slice and top with whipped butter and jelly of your choosing.
Peanut Butter Fudge
1 cup creamy peanut butter
1 can of cream cheese frosting
Mix in together in a mixing bowl, using a heavy spatula.
Next, pour into your favorite saucepan, over low heat till it turns into liquid. Turn off the burner. Set mixture aside. Use a pan of 10 x 5 wax paper on the bottom. Refrigerate till firm and cut into desired squares. This is no-fail fudge and is it ever tasty?
Suddenly the tea kettle blew on the stove, time to break for tea. Sitting down plus the kinner, had cups of tea with cream and sugar. Yummy gut to sip, especially as cold outside as it is. Lana made them all hot vegetable soup , in deep scoop bowls made from clay by herself. A dark rich green color baked into the clay for she sells her stuff made by her hand .
Homemade Vegetable Soup
1 corn canning jar plus liquid pour into large roaster crock pot.
1 jar green beans and liquid
1 jar potatoes and liquid
1 jar stewed tomatoes
1 jar peas
1 jar sliced carrots
1 jar cabbage
1 jar ground roast beef
Stir contents well, salt and pepper to taste.
Cover with a lid , slow cook all day till hot un plug , and let cool take out crock leave outside shell with plug on counter refrigerate the crock full of soup.
When served garnish with a cracker and cheese tray with seedless grapes and iced sweet tea.
To flourish as a farmers wife you must always keep a splendid kitchen stocked with gut food made by your own hands. Looking ever so pretty on shelves in your pantry you're proud of.
Make sure at all times your floors shinning, pretty rugs down on them. Your house a welcoming addition to your marriage. Most of all your journey through life together long lived with love.

She has purchased some lovely pie safes, in dark green wood, off white shabby sheek, another red which has been sanded to look antique. Her flea market find, in town well known for their furniture.
They have decided to sell bakery in a barn next to our farmhouse. Refurbished to welcome an adventure both together Schwesters were welcoming into their married lives, husbands as much excited for them. As they share farmed the property.
Before the storm started they got to venture to see inside. It being detailed, handsomely inside , added cupboards, cash register with a check out. Boxed cans of food, and cereal , dry good products, kitchen utensils, children's toys, cloth diapers, pots and pans, sets of dishes.
