The square dance singing band sang songs close to the heart. To be certain it was a little bit more than the traditional song. This song created a true sense of rhythm of life truth be told.

     Atlee could have sworn she'd seen Isaac, did she have any good intentions to make the most of it? For instance, if it were him in person, what is he doing here? Or is he doing business in these parts?
       Interesting how they have crossed paths once again. They did not quite catch up to each other yet stillness quieted her soul in love there.
Every time she got to his area at the dance, he moved on toward another dance step.
         Plus each time they stole a look until finally she and her date left for the evening to go home. Eli Beiler drove them home from the dance. " You look preoccupied Atlee, tell me what's on your mind.
     " Nothing, and Thank you for being my date tonight. I've had the best night ever." He accepted her answer, the only thing is he was falling in love with her. Deep down inside hoping her heart was feeling something toward him.
Later on the next day, Atlee had a long talk with Mater. She became honest telling her exactly what had gone on. Mater fully understands the entire story, even telling Atlee her true thoughts on the matter.
Atlee:" I'm almost positive it was Isaac, to be truthful yet unsure of it at the same time. And I'm glad to be home with my family. Yet as I was leaving Isaacs's farm I felt saddened. "
Mater:" Zah, Your fater grabbed my hand one time while I was a single girl. I knew then it was lovely for sure. I made the most of it while unsure if he'd be back sure enough he was. You see dochder all prayers answered if it is meant to be. Rest assured dear hearted girl it will happen in due time. Do you know why because of your belief in God."
Atlee: " Danke Mater for you give me the truth about myself and everything else. This is a fun age yet hard because of finding a husband. Yes 22 years is a good start to life. Besides you and fater gave me a gut upbringing to look at your perfect marriage. "
    Her braudars all older and married, living in houses on this farmland. So she had Mater and Fater to herself. Even though her braudars not much older than herself. Atlee did not have any luck finding her soul mate.
         Mater guaranteed her she is going to, and have her own kinner. Sure enough dochder as I'm sitting here you will find a soul mate. Atlee felt self-assured just hearing Mater made her believe. All things evolve around the family and is true to our God's word.
       Tonight Mater and Atlee started a quilt for Atlees hope chest. Her colors red white and blue in the Wedding Star. They rolled out the sewing basket full of every size of quilt needle and color of thread. Very uniquely, stacked in the basket.
The Stitched Quilt of Love, becomes a bride and her groom's wedding quilt. Plus, other heirlooms, packed into her Cedar chest. This chest was full of her dowry. Mater had hers to take into the marriage of fater. As well as her mater before her.
Then taking pieces of materials to make a star on a white square to quilt. Each piece is a significant impact on the look of your quilt when finished. Sincerest thoughts lay ahead when looking at the beautiful piece of work.
      Today baking cookies as they quilted along.
                    The Best Raisen Cookies Ever
1 cup flour
1 cup brown sugar
1 cup raisins
1 1/2 cup oatmeal
1/2 cup butter
1 egg
2 tbs. Vanilla
1/2 tsp. Salt
1/2 tsp. Baking soda
1/2 tsp. Baking powder
Mix well in a large mixing bowl
When mixed well drop by tablespoons onto a greased cookie sheet.
The day full of love baking and quilting, Altee and Mater. Time spent working on a project that you have throughout the history of your married life. A time to plant, rooting into the ground of your life.
Atlee slept well that night in great hopes of learning about my life. To accept the things I cannot change and to know the difference.
Dreaming of gut things ahead in her life. Prayers are answered with the continual love of the Lord.
        Next day hustle and bustle of everyday life on a Mennonite Amish farmstead. The cows being milked, the chickens fed, as all the farm animals are. Atlee, fed chickens and bunnies they owned to show at the fair. She enjoyed farm life to the fullest.
        The previous day mater and she made twelve dozen cookies to freeze for later use as needed. A gut start on quilt pieces to put together as one big piece. Things were starting to fall into place as comfort always does.
        In the meantime spring had sprung over a blue sky. Love is in the air for me and you, I shall be a great companion to you. A promise of a new tomorrow and forever true. To be exact is yet to be a part of life yet to dream and dwell upon.
       Simple life among the plain, tells a lot about how my life is planned out ahead for me. To dream through our Bible is the best way to believe.
