Luffy ve vivi! The battle front of alabasta

"Look up ahead I see a light" Vivi said pointing ahead of the group "does that mean we made it to Yuba? I can't see with all the sand blowing everywhere" Luffy said "something here doesn't feel right, there's something wrong going on down there I can tell" Vivi said walking to the city. "This isn't good" Anna said looking around the now sand covered city "this place doesn't look different from that Erumalu town from before" Zoro said staring at the city with Usopp on his shoulder "Vivi I thought this was supposed to be some sort of oasis" Sanji asked "it looks like the oasis has disappeared, it's been swallowed up by the sand" Vivi said before hearing digging sounds from nearby as they went to meet the man.

"Why the ruckus?" Anna asked entering the room Toto prepared for the crew "pillow fight!" Chopper laughed as the guys soon began fighting "is luffy still outside?" Nami asked "...yea" Anna said sitting on her bed "what's wrong?" Vivi asked "don't you think it's weird? A city once known for its oasis is now buried in sand, don't you think if it could be buried in sand it would have been a very long time ago?" Anna asked as the guys stopped fighting "it is strange but it's the desert, it's not unusual" Sanji said.

"It actually is, yes Alabasta is hot but it should at least rain once or twice a year why hasn't it rained once in three years? I went to do some checking and the depletion of water is just unnatural, I tried to see how far the water was and I couldn't get anything, the sand doesn't have life, there are many things that aren't adding up and all I can say is that's it's not natural" anna pointed out "what do you think could be wrong?" Usopp asked "...someone in baroque works has a sand or wind type devil fruit, causing the sandstorms to blow to cities and towns destroying their water sources, forcing the people to get angry at the king and start a rebellion and with all that confusion crocodile can use the people as he pleases destroying the kingdom...it's just a hunch though" Anna said noticing Vivi worried face "hah, a hunch stupid" Zoro scoffed before Anna shoe landed at the side of his head "don't listen to Anna Vivi, sometimes she's just crazy" Nami reassured.

"Anna is really smart she noticed that just by searching the place" August said nodding his head "then again lady Lydia was always been smart and observant, maybe her intelligence from this life went with her to the next" a nobleman said from beside August "she has always been canniving and calculating, Lydia is not dead she's just using this as a way to get my attention, once I say I acknowledge her efforts you'll see how quickly she'll jump out the shadows, but I'll never do that" Tristan said with a grin as he watched the strawhat asleep.

Next morning

"Hey luffy what are you doing over there?!" Usopp asked stopping after noticing luffy sitting down mid walk "uhm is everything alright?" Vivi asked "...I quit" Luffy said looking at Vivi confusing the group "what's that mean? Quit what luffy?" Vivi asked "come on we don't have the time to put up with you luffy, let's go" Usopp said "yes we should and fast, if we don't get back to that katorea place the way we came and stop the rebellion that's about to begin then a million alabasta citizens are gonna start fighting and things are gonna get real ugly real quick" Sanji said forcing luffy to stand up "Vivi, right now all I want to do is kick crocodile ass you understand? Maybe we can keep the people from starting a rebellion but that won't stop crocodile, beside we won't be able to accomplish anything in Katorea, we're pirates everyone knows things are better off without us around" Luffy said.

"You gotta admit he has a way of getting straight to the point when he really wants to" Sanji said crossing his arms "no that's not true" Vivi said "you want it to work out so that nobody does in this fight isn't that right Vivi? None of the citizens, none of us either" luffy said going on about the fight before aviva punched him and he hit her back. "Luffy was right, I've made my mind up now change of plans we're gonna go find crocodile" Vivi said after she and luffy talk "that does seem like the quickest way from stopping the fight from happening" Nami said "and we can quit wondering around the desert too, that was beginning to get old" Zoro added "so where is he anyway? This damn crocodile guy" Sanji asked as Vivi took out a map and explained the whereabouts of crocodile.

"How many times must I tell the two of you to quit with your groaning all the time" Nami said annoyed at Luffy and Usopp groaning "you get to ride on the damn camel, at least let us ride eyelash for a bit" Luffy and Usopp said "suck it up even Rowen is lasting longer than you" Anna said staring at the lion cub that was walking lordly beside chopper "that's cause he's a half breed, he's half desert lion" chopper said surprising Anna "really? I didn't know, I need to know what kind of creatures I keep in my jungle" Anna mumbled staring ahead of them.

"Vivi does this rain base city have a water supply?" Chopper asked "oh yea no shortage there, it's a gambling town almost completely isolated from all the fighting" Vivi said "va, Gambling. Cha-Ching" Nami and Anna both said their eyes forming berries signs "no way you two were not going in there to gamble" zoro said "I guess people need a place to relax even here in alabasta" Sanji said before Usopp and Luffy argued over the water Toto gave Luffy "the old man gave it to me so we can't go drinking it like it's regular water" Luffy said "wow, you can control yourself sometimes" Nami said in disbelief at their captains actions "yea of course I can Nami, that was a rude thing to say you know" luffy said getting in Nami face "can't be rude if it's true" Anna said as Vivi got off the camel to thank Luffy.

"Are we here? Yea! Time to kick crocodile ass!" Luffy yelled as they reached the gambling town "money money money" Anna sang as Nami got off the camel "focus that's not why we're here! so after all that's happened are we under the assumption that baroque works knows that we're here on the island?" Zoro asked "it seems likely, we did run into Mr. 2 so I think it's safe to assume that they have at least some idea that we were headed to alabasta" Nami said as luffy talked "we should all be prepared, we're going to have to fight at least one member of the top 3 members of baroque works and their partners not counting crocodile" Anna said showing her fingers "I'm not fighting crocodile? Yes I am, what are you talking about Anna?!" Luffy yelled before her shoe was thrown at his face.

"I never said you're not fighting him! I'm talking about the rest of us!" Anna yelled "oh whoops my bad" Luffy giggled "Zoro my shoe" Anna said as luffy ran into town.
