Clover was anxious and twitching, even after that strange blue and purple person saved her from Ruin.
Cherry and Vio had worried over her for the past hour, but she was alright.

Physically at least.

She had a feeling that the experience wouldn't leave her anytime soon.

"Are we ready to go?" Vio jolted Clover out of her thoughts.

"Y-yeah!" Her nervousness still slipped out when she tried to hide it.

"Are you sure you'll be okay Clover? After..." Cherry was worried about her.

We were lucky it wasn't a diversion to split us up and hurt Cherry... I can't lose her. Not after... The first attack...

"Yeah-! I can take care of myself- I should be the one worrying about you!" Clover plastered on a too-fake smile and ruffled Cherry's hair.

"Hey-"

"Anyways- lets get going. Oh yeah, Cherry take this!" Clover pressed a resin-covered 4-leaf clover into Cherry's hand. "It's a good luck charm! Stay safe."

"You both stay safe too!"

"We will!"

They all waved goodbye, splitting up to Red, Green, Blue kingdoms, hopefully making some alliances.

It had been a while of walking, and Clover was tired.
She sighed and slid down a tree after checking her surroundings. It seemed safe, so she could probably set up camp and rest for a bit. There didn't seem to be anyone around for miles.

It wasn't safe

She wasn't alone.

She didn't notice until sculk started creeping into the clearing.
Ruin was here.

She scrambled to get out her sword, but a tentacle of sculk knocked it out of her hands, and more sprouted from the ground to force her down.

"What do you want?!" Don't panic! Remember your training-

Except she couldn't remember as Ruin's gaze bore into her, smirking.

"I never got to try what I wanted to because of that... person." He started circling Clover, malice filling it's voice.

She couldn't stop shaking.

"Wh-what-?"

"How fun would it be if Cherry saw you infected?" He sneered. "Or what if I tried a few... experiments while you're awake?" The psychopathic monster was enjoying this.

"L-let me go." She didn't know if she could do anything if the sculk let her go. Her vision was starting to swim.

"No, I don't think I will. You're coming with me." He held out his fingers.
